So, everything dried in 9 days at 68-70 degrees 55-60% humidity.
I got 8oz 2gr of just well manicured bud and a solid ounce of tea bud which is all the larf down around the SCROG or below.
So I guess technically I got little over 9oz

I think I had a bit more weight loss than usual because the stems were beefy as hell.

Bread day again, yay.

That's a sweet number to get Nunya! Beautiful work!
I like your loaves as much too. Perfect color and nice scoring. Home baker or have you been a pro?
Just a home baker.
I've made a few loaves over the years here and there but Covid has now made it a necessity so I bake two loaves a week.
Today iam going to make Cheezit crackers from the sourdough discard.

The top buds were really heavy with oil, I made 3 ounces of just the prime tops and each one barely filled half a quart jar because they were dense and totally covered in oil, I won't touch any of those until at least June 2021.
9 months seems to be the sweet spot for curing.

Found a nice surprise a few hours ago.
Was looking out my window and on the edge of the woods spied several Lions Mane mushrooms about 12 feet up a dead tree.
Grabbed the ladder and harvested just over 2 pounds of perfect Lions Mane, no bugs at all.
About $50 worth at the grocery store.

I sliced one up in thick slices, fried in a dry pan with a little salt for a few minutes, then added Ghee to finish it up nice and golden brown.
Made some Fettuccine, took shrooms out of skillet and lightly browned a little garlic in some ghee, added a couple tablespoons of some kale and white cheddar Alfredo sauce and a couple tablespoons of heavy cream.
Sliced the Lions Mane up into strips and added to skillet with sauce, added the Fettuccine and topped with Parmesan and Aleppo pepper.

Was very tasty and really good for you.

I am making some spore prints right now in hopes of growing my own.

When you aren’t growing tree triffids you’re eating tree truffles? Busy, busy. Nice bit of foraging, nunya. Lucky on the bug front. Unusual looking fungus.
Beautiful harvest back there!

I gotta come up with two more recipes for all this Lions Mane.
Its my favorite shroom, it has the meaty consistency of lobster or crab and like pretty much all fungi takes on the flavor of what you cook it in.

I gotta start looking up! Those were perfect all right! My tree shrooms I notice are hard. That's it, my eyes are on the up for some of those beauties! Happy Saturday Nunya!
I always look for shrooms in spring and fall especially first sunny day after a rain.
Been looking for Lions Mane for decades and never found any.
So yesterday, day 230 of quarantine I was talking to my wife as I was walking by the window and these just stood out like they were stadium lights, big old white shrooms on a dead tree right in my back yard, did a double take, then got my binoculars.
Told my wife, that's fucking Lion's Mane.
Couldn't believe it.
Was within a day or so of buying spores to grow my own.
Hopefully I can get some spores from these.

I just Inoculated two sterilized grain bags yesterday with Psilocybe Cubensis B+ and Golden Teacher.
Thought I'd try my hand at growing some psilocybin mushrooms.
I haven't had any for 30 years, after 2020 and 4 years of Trump my wife and I need a mental reset and psilocybin should be just what the Doctor prescribed and that doctor is me since there's no way in hell id actually go to a doctor the past 8 months and most likely the next 2+ years.
Gotta grow our own phucking medicine, fortunately for 80% of what might ail you cannabis and psilocybin is better than anything any doctor can prescribe anyway.

Lions Mane recipe number 2.

Made Faux Crab Cake sandwiches, very tasty. Actually was better than most crab cakes I've had, better than the canned crab, doesn't have that fishy taste which is like really fresh crab that you catch yourself.

I broke the Lion's Mane up into small pieces that looks just like crab meat.

Made a sauce of Mayo, Dijon mustard, Worcester, Lemon juice, Zaatar and one egg.
Crushed up a handful of rosemary olive oil crackers.
Chopped up 2 scallions and one really hot banana pepper.
Tossed all that into a bowl and combined well.

Made 4 Lions Mane cakes and fried on medium heat in ghee and a little olive oil.

Toasted 4 Brioche buns and shmeared with some mayo mustard lemon juice.

Put cake on bun and top with lettuce.

Served with Haricot Verts and toasted almonds.

You should start your own restaurant brother . Your bread looks nicer then the high end bakery in town here awesome job dude .
Just wanted to congratulate you on the awesome harvest nice haul bud.
Hope to see something new going on soon .
Be safe play safe :headbanger:
Thanks bud.

Been eating better under quarantine than before.
I am going to start another grow first week of December I think.

Shits about to get real in the next couple months.
Everybody thats able to should get as much food and provisions as possible and ride out the Covid winter.
I just finished a trip to Costco and Trader Joe's couple days ago, our fridge is a total blivet with 1000 pounds of shyt in a 500 pound fridge and we got about 60# of flour, 30# of various pasta, 25# of rice, at least 60# of various meat and seafood,, stacks of canned and dried beans, 5 cases of wine, 8 cases of beer, four 1.5L bottles of Tequila, about 10# of coffee.
Just over a pound of cannabis.
And should have some Psilocybe Cubensis mushrooms way before Christmas so we can usher in the New Year properly.
We should be good until at least February before I need to go back out to a grocery store.

Stay away from everyone as best you can, DON'T go to any big family Thanksgiving dinner.
Stay safe.

Best advise I can imagine Nunya! I got ridiculed for getting that done a few months ago by my own immediate family and had to do it without the usual concurrence, something I don't usually have to do, or feel comfortable with but I did anyway. Now's a different story from them. Better safe than dead sorry I say. I'm watching everything before going anywhere. Just ordered a load of amendments for the grow too.
I went light in the booze department so a trip to mecca (Total Wine) is called for this week. Stay safe the best you can you guys!
