NuttyProfessor And His Herd Of Indigenous Microorganisms

some life a few hours later , will upload tomorrow again

indigenous microorganisms free to good home lol  billions at a time , i dilute the microbes 1 to 20 for planted plant , 1 to 10 for preparing pots or using on compost, using on compost isolates the microbes to your place :)

So why is mountain leaf mold better ?

Answer

For example, the Pando, or "trembling giant," is a clonal colony made up of more than 40,000 individual quaking aspen (Populus tremuloides) trees, Located in Fish lake National Forest in south-central Utah, the colony is estimated to be an astounding 80,000 years old.

Called Old Tjikko, this 9,550-year-old trunk from a clonal Norway spruce is a record-breaker.
In 2008, peculiar circumstances led to the discovery of the world's oldest individual from a clonal tree: Old Tjikko, a 9,550-year-old Norway spruce located the in Fulufjället Mountains in Sweden, according to scientists at Umeå University. Old Tjikko is suspected to be the only living trunk of an ancient clonal colony like the Pando.

OK if this makes sense I am trying to make this as close to how plants feed in nature but in a pot lol
i fill a large 90 litre tub , circulates for days , add ferment from the leaves of my Mary Jane plants , then add some of the juice from my nutrient catcher , old fruit and veg, squeeze a sock full of compost , hoping this is the sort of thing they have feeding from mother nature

you will see you need to have the exact measurements right to the nearest ml :nerd-with-glasses::laugh::laugh:

hopefully natures perfect NPK ,no bottles no stims , no boost , no cal-mag ,
starting water ppm 44 :blunt:

So today , i added some of my microbe solution to my ferment buckets ,then threw in the rest of the dry amendments i made . This should brake down over the next few days < plant available . Like feeding piranha fish in a barrel :Rasta:

As i lay in bed last night thinking like i always do i decided ill not be added my top dress after today or ever make it again for this journal , i feel like its cheating a bit, or more it is not like this for these plants in nature ,but for now i have no other choice but to continue with the method until the time comes , so keep watching , it could go plop at any time as i fed those plants i top dressed, so could be over load  plus they are in 5 gallon as i was not going to add them to this journal lol:laugh: its done now so i cant take it back out pmsl

My Future plan is :hmmmm: >>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>:nomo::reading420magazine::idea::meatballs:

I am going to grow hemp and make hemp compost , i will use leaves mostly in one and the flowers more in the other or use the flowers for ferments and microbes :)
This should bring me a large step closer to their natural growing but in a pot and i am playing mother nature :adore:
this will not be possible until i get the hemp grown , so for now ill crack on with what im doing ,

effect of hemp based compost and compost teas on plant growth. The matured compost was added to a basic potting mix in different proportions (0, 25, 50, 75 or 100%) and placed into 20 cm pots. Pots were planted with sunflower seeds (Helianthus annus, ‘Dwarf Sensation’), watered and placed in a glasshouse. Pots were arranged in a randomised design with six replicates per treatment. Compost tea produced from the compost was applied weekly to half the pots as a soil drench. Water infiltration rate increased with increasing percentage of hemp compost in the mix. Leaf chlorophyll content was lowest in the 100% potting mix control, while the 50, 75 and 100% compost treatments showed the highest chlorophyll levels. Leaf area at maturity was over 300% greater in the 75 and 100% compost treatments than in the 100% potting mix control. Flower head diameter increased with addition of compost, and was 45% larger in the 75 and 100% compost treatments. Pots treated with compost tea showed increased leaf area, chlorophyll content and flower head diameter. Data collected from this study has shown that hemp based composts are a valuable addition to potting media, and that hemp based compost teas can improve plant growth and yields.

I can't help but think of the survival skill set this is Nutty. I'm a lazy survivalist, meaning i keep things around in case of short power outages that will make life better. Small things like having camping equipment for cooking and light. But this knowledge is hard core and a huge tool to have. ++

I trimmed the critical orange punch today and topped , next week ill be feeding kelp , i want more thick branching and a split in the roots cells

I also came across my BRIX meter, a measuring tool for sugars in the leaves , i will watch some videos and come back with results when i work it out

Brix (symbol °Bx) is a measure of sugars, vitamins, minerals, proteins and other solid content in plant juice. Brix is determined by extracting the juices of a fruit or plant and using light refraction to determine the density of the sugars and other dissolved solid content

My brix was only 6 , tomorrow is microbe feeding day and nutrients day , then ill measure again the following day , this is to see if the input of more microbe will raise the brix levels fast , and if the nutrients the plant is getting is enough or shall i up the ferment juice , i was going lightly :)

That thing looks like something right out of starwars.

That thing looks like something right out of starwars.
It does mate , though coming across this again was a sign , i can now measure my soils , my ferments etc , can see what mixes and what feeds work better for the best yield , the more i increase the better its getting

I am going to clean it later tonight and make sure its calibrated, was laying in the shed for 6 years when i lost interest i never lifted it up again , it seems a bit low that reading , ill distill some water and wash it , then check its sitting right

hope your well mate

Brewed and more microbes added at feeding , 5 litre rain water , some run off

feeding 28th all three solutions , Looks like this after trim , give a week to see how the new growth does
