NukeHeads Sponsored Grow Journal PlantWrestlers 30 Nukes

Lmao it's rare I get a chance to call you out on em either, you're slick. But I caught ya saying how much you love to smoke meat haha so it's only right you crush my grapefruit!

LOL....22 years in the Marines, you learn to watch what you say. They are freaking ruthless......not as nice and polite as in here. And god forbid you show any weakness or signs that they "got to you". If that happens, its a guarantee that your life will revolve around it.....call signs, nicknames, plaques, you name it. LOL, better have some thick skin.

Today has been a strange day so far. Pats over in my journal trying to rape Vex, Vex is chasing me down to flick my balloon knot, Vans smoking meat and trying to shove an airline in me arse... what's next?! I've heard about that in the marines, my favorite foreman in the union was a marine helo mechanic and he told me that so many times, but my skins as thick as mud so I invite any PPPs, GP's, Stank jokes etc lol

Yeah I am the same way. I don't believe in being offended. I simply ignore ignorant people, assholes, or people just trying to get a rise. If you are a true Dikhead, you aren't worth my time or energy. If I give someone shit, its cause I like them. If I hardly say anything to you, well you probably fall into that Dikhead category in my mind.

It's the only way to be bro I got no time for twits lol

It amazes me how "offended" everyone is these days. Like all the sensitive people were all up in arms over what Cam Newton said yesterday about a female reporter asking him technical questions over a pass route. You would think he was trying to take away a woman's right to vote LOL. Grow some skin people. I simply took it as a compliment to her that she actually seemed to know the game, instead of the traditionally stupid questions of "how do you feel after that win".....how the freaking hell do you think he feels, dude is happy you dumb twit!!

Lmao yup exactly! The whole PC movement has turned people into vajayjays lol

Cause guess what happens if you are offended......ABSOLUTE NOTHING. It does nothing, it changes nothing. Your day will progress exactly the same as if you weren't offended. The only thing that changes is your attitude towards that something. Not to mention I just find way too much humor in 'offensive' stuff.

If it wasn't funny we wouldn't think of it in the first place lmao

And i hear people say all the time "well it wouldn't be funny if it was about you or something close to you"......OH HELL YEAH IT WOULD BE. Hey I am white...I love hearing white jokes. I have a deaf sister, I love hearing deaf jokes. I don't take either person....got a joke about the Marines, let me hear it. Doesn't matter if its something I like or not. Funny if funny to me, doesn't matter if others find it offensive or not. And holy shit, if you think I am bad.....you should see the stuff Ms Stank finds funny.

You ever watch Tosh on TV Growchy?

I'm not sure it's about people being butt hurt, or just trying to evolve as a species and understand women are equal.

I'm sure Cam would flip if when he arrived to 1st practice, his coach said, "oh you're on time. That's surprising...I mean you're black"

It's about tact and timing. The podium was in poor taste and badly timed. He should know that, he didn't, I'm sure he'll learn from this

Some people see it that way, I don't necessarily see it that way. I mean I am a sports fanatic. I don't think women commentators or analysts are anywhere near on the same level as male counterparts. Not because they can't be, but because they don't play the sport and their intimate knowledge of the nuisances of the game is severely lacking. Can they be good, even great? Certainly, but they are at a distinct disadvantage. I can read up on pregnancy all day long, but I will never be like a woman cause, well I am a guy and will never experience it. That lack of understanding puts me at a distinct disadvantage of talking about it as an expert. Doesn't mean I can't become an expert, just means I have to work harder at it. I would expect women to look at me skeptically as a SME (Subject Matter Expert). Has nothing to do with me being less or not equal.....women know it and can relate better than probably 99% of guys. Most male commentators have played and understand it better. Show me a female reporter that knows what its like to hang in there while waiting to throw a 15 yard deep out with a LB blitz. Just not the same. Hell show me a woman that can throw a 15 yard deep out with an NFL size ball.

Same thing with the military....I would have a hard time listening to someone who has never served, talk about life in the military and what it takes. You gotta prove to me you know what you are talking about. Doesn't mean everyone that has served is fit to talk about it either. Hell there are some horrible male sports casters and media members.

So to his point, with all the silly questions I hear reporters ask, both male and female....I too get a bit surprised, and appreciative of hearing a woman reporter ask a technical question. But again, I don't ever choose to look at a situation as offensive....but just me.

I have to disagree with your analogy that because women are able to and may have given birth that that's the same as a guy having more inherent knowledge of a sports game. I'm 400% man and I know very little about about specific players, team record, etc. I know all the rules because I played those games but beyond that I know very little. I may be a minority here but I see no good reason a woman can't have just as valid opinion on sports as a man or be as well or potentially even a better soldier than a man. This is just my two cents not trying to step on toes.

I didn't say she couldn't have one...just she had to work harder because she didn't play it. You gain a certain degree of credibility as a broadcaster or reporter having played the game. The players can relate to you easier. Doesn't mean you can't do either as a man or female that didn't play the game professionally, just that you have to work harder. Cam, in my eyes, was just shocked to hear that type of question come from a female reporter....I was too....I don't ever hear those kinds of questions from female reporters. To me its refreshing. His mistake was how he responded....especially in todays world. I didn't look at at it as he was being offensive, even though I can see how people who allow themselves to be offended.....would be. I looked at it as an honest reaction to question he wasn't expecting. Again, just my .02

I have to disagree with the analysts. Commentary meh, but female analysts are killing it right now.
You mention being an expert. It doesn't take a helmet to the chest to understand the nuances of the route tree.
Also the comment about a women throwing a ball 15yds? Come on. I know women that can throw a 25yd+ dart.

I also think the word 'offended' is over used.
I'm not offended by his comments or the situation. I think it was an ignorant comment, given the women's profession. I would expect more respect given she's made it to that point.
Like I said, it's about tact and timing.

Two things Cam has had a problem grasping since joining the league.

I understand your view, I just don't think it's as black and white.

AND THIS IS WHY I LOVE OUR COUNTRY!!!
We may not see eye to eye, but we can discuss it, agree, disagree, doesn't matter, bc in the end you're still my brother!
Thanks for your sacrifice in service.
