Thanks roaring lion it does appear that she is starting to fill out pretty well. She looks a little thin as I just did a major defoliation but should soon change. :nervous-guy:

Now I have 10gal fabric pots too, but next time I will be starting in these 10gals from seed. To have best root system possible.

Not to argue, but most seem to feel that unless doing autos it's best to start small and up-pot along the way to get the best root ball.

I agree Alafornia unless you are very diligent on how you water. Autos, I always keep in same pot just to save the chance they get stressed during transplanting. A couple days of no growth could be terrible.

Where as regulars I start small and up pot when needed as a couple days of stress could be beneficial in root and stalk growth.

hey G,

i'm dithering about upsizing my plants to the fabric pots. i'm just reading about the transplant shock that can occur and the "leafly" website advises against doing it while the plants are switching from veg to flower mode. without you seeing them in person, i have very little in the way of flower growth, just a bunch of white hairs at the nodes, very very early in flowering stage.

How and When to Transplant Cannabis Plants

care to share your opinion? it would be a shame to lose these ladies due to transplanting at this stage of the game

Nice work Gerry. Your gardens are gorgeous. Counting down to a happy harvest there.
I’m liking how you seem pretty observant of your girls’ changing needs and you’re good with creative solutions too.
You’re obviously pretty good at this stuff.
I’d like to see how you do and follow through with this one too

Not ignoring you, RL. just can’t help is all. I’m still about as green as ganga. Just stopped by to say Hi.

If it was me and the plants are root bound or you think chance of becoming root bound I would up pot for sure. The rule I stick to is for my Autos no up potting unless root bound. Regulars up pot whenever needed up to and including first part of flowering ( I take flower time split into thirds and if still in first trimester (lol) than good to go.:thumb:.

Thanks DD. I am trying to learn and increase my knowledge and skill with every grow. Thanks to all the great people here at :420: makes it pretty easy to do so.

I do spend a considerable amount of time with my plants albeit most of the time is spent observing ( my wife calls it mind meld ).

And DD just gone through your last grow congrats on your harvest.

Thanks man yeah :high-five: We’re pretty stoked with our freaky mango flavoured fruity goodness. It’s thanks to this forum that it happened!

After seeing yours DD I'm gonna have to get some seeds so I can try it out. Looked so yummy :yummy:

OUTDOOR UPDATE :

August 12 2019

- sprayed for aphids using an insecticidal soap as they were getting outta hand.

I wanted to do this now as would not be able to in a few days as buds will be out and I never use any spray when buds are there

- they have been in stretch mode and clone is making an attempt at catching up to Mom

INDOOR UPDATE :

August 12 2019

20190811_224718.jpg

- watered with molasses water and gave her a spin

* other two were fine for water

- added dehumidifier to room for when lights are off as RH peaked at 89

- temps were also hitting high 80's so took one of my table fans and created a makeshift inline fan to suck cool fresh air into room

* sat with them until their fever subsided
