Hi ! Checking out your N.L.'s. Looking Good. I just wonder how you keep them shorter like that. I'm currently growing 5 strains & N.L. is one of them. The N.L. is giving me all kinds of problems ... but sort of good problems. I started the grow on 6-1 & my N.L. is a monster that's out of control. She wont quit growing into the lights. I've done LST & so far had to HST (Super Crop) 10 Branches twice on the N.L. to keep her off the light. Today I'm hanging a SCROG net across the top of the tent to poke the branches through to get them away from the light. Thing is close to 6' tall & 3' diameter. Never had one grow like this before. Usually my plants stay about 4' tall.

I love having these kinda issues Buds Buddy. I topped her once at 4 nodes and than did LST tying down stems and curving them all in one direction. Did same training on the NL that is in flower and morher in veg. Mother a lot bigger as been in veg longer is all.

I had to fold over tops on two of my plants ( with advice from great folks here ) as they were stretching too much and that solved my issue.

Mom was showing signs of nute deficiency in a majority of lower leaves. Shouldn't have been missing so had to investigate and after speaking with plant at length here is what I found out...

When transplanted into 20gal pot the soil used was too compacted. The plant is having a hard time accessing the soil and the nutes within.

Solution :

Using sticks I poked holes throughout compacted soil at angles down into root mass. Than fed her with a fermented fish mixture I made which is about 5 years old.

Also fed this too clone.

Now wait and see

Clone really liked fish mixture. Didn't have to wait long over night is all. She is very happy this morning ( she ler me know over coffee)

She is also already soaked in nutes as the yellowing lower leaves are now light green instead.

Mother still yellowing so I gave her shot of Cal-mag to give her a boost

Clone doing good. She is tottaly all natural lol I did no training and no leaf picking as experiment.

Watered NL right on schedule ( not my schedule the plants lol ) She was holla thirsty.

The GDP I am watching intently as the bud has potential. She could go all the way. She could could be a contender.

what do you prefer more plastic or fabric pots?

This has been on my mind for the last two weeks.

I like fabric pots because
- the pots sit nice next to each of you can put them right close great for small plants in small areas.
- the air getting to roots stops any root fungus or mold

I like food grade plastic because
- last longer than fabric
- rigid part good for tie down plant
- the watering is more controllable. The runoff is better ( in fabric pots when you water it will follow roots and come out the side where the root ends ) -- if thos doesn't make sense let me know I will explain better

In the end .....

For starting and clones I prefer
Geopots

With the velcro sides. Awesome product. I will be using exclusively in future.

Than transplant into 5gal food safe plastic to finish.

Thanks for asking

I have done my first run with plastic and now doing fabric.
Only difference that I found so far is that fabric are harder to water since I have to do it slower. When I put there too much water it starts running from sides of pot.
