Northern Lights #5 Mid Grow

Vipars have been nothing but great I couldn’t be happier. I’m saving up I want to buy some California solarsystem for my next grow

Week 5 of flower they all got a heavy feeding of tiger bloom it’s the largest dose of nutrients I’ve given them so far so we’ll see how they like it. They are also smelling so good I want to live inside my tent

Mine has been a great light for me, the first light I bought. Still hangs in the middle of my veg tent but soon it's moving to the flower tent. New lights arriving on Thursday!

What kind did you go with?

I just got the 300 watt cheapie. I've always gone with the $300 lights. My wife kinda don't like me spending lotsa money on lights she doesn't use... It's the only one I've got. I just upgraded to QB's though and will supplement one of my tents with the Vipar. I've get her centered between 4 lights in my veg tent. It's flanked by four lights, each one is rated 240 watts, but their light is more red than blue.

Ok gave a heavy feeding again today buds are coming in nice I’m getting really excited to see how much they will grow.

Wow nice grow @Souptaco ! You are about a month ahead of me it's awesome to see the progress, great journal! I love my VP Par 450, just crank all three dimmable switches though...as if I need ANOTHER variable to wonder if I've been mistaken about! Are you using just Veg?

Hi @Pbass thanks! So far the vipar 600 has been working great. Mine has two switches “veg and bloom” I run them both currently but while they were in veg I only ran the veg switch. I think next time I might run both switches for the entire grow to see if there is any difference

WOW! Nice @Souptaco congrats man not long now! I'm so happy to see how that 600 does the job! How many watts does that pull at the wall?

@Pbass thanks man I really appreciate it! To be honest I have no idea how much wattage it’s pulling besides my power bill going up slightly lol. I am getting pretty excited for harvest though 2 of my girls are throwing Amber trichomes nicely. I can’t decide if I should flush the two that are, and give one more feeding to the two that arnt or just flush them all. I think I will wait one more day and maybe just flush the two, gotta listen to the plants

Gmorning @Souptaco man I got pot plants on the brain it's not 5am here and I have a hour to go before I can go see how my girls look! My wife snores like a chain saw though so I was up anyway...yeah that's my real excuse! That light pulls Avg. Power Draw: 269W±3%, 67 more than my 450. Hopefully my CFL supplements will juice my grow up enough to cover 4 plants. Man your's look awesome! Have a great day today!

Thanks @Agemon im still debating when to do a final flush from everything I’ve read I think I need to wait for some of those trichomes to turn cloudy

You dont have to flush until a week prior and even then, i light amount of food wouldnt hurt. More amber trichs more sleepy.
