NoobyMacDooby's Grow: Less Nooby More Dooby!

Looking good but once again I really worry when you uppot such small plants. Look at this one, she will go up in a week's time

Yeah I re used the pots I pulled the other males from. I dont have enough soil and pots to do a mid sized pot change. I'm also not sure how to go about doing 2 re pottings. My plan was to do 2 months of veg from the seed popping and then hitting flower. The 1st re-pot I do is at 4 weeks, by then the plants have filled their current pots with roots. If I go for a medium sized pot then I would have to re-pot just before switching to flowering for the biggest pot. Not sure if this would be ok as the plant would suffer from shock potentially.

I'm being super carefull with the watering on the small plants. I've measured how much the water the pots can take, both the big and the small ones. So I'm using just a pinch more water than the small pot can hold and watering that amount in the bigger pots. Also being very carefull to water on the edge of the small poto and not just pouring it over everything. Those 2 new plants, the whole surface looks wet because I hit it with some pesticides to nuke any gnats.

I did see a thread here a while back where someone was doing a test run where the up potted just before switching to flower to make space for the root growth during the flower period. The results showed major root growth from it but no follow up on the yield on that.

How do you go about your potting schedule?

yup, I buried the left over bits under our compost heap but it's so stinky it's coming through and making the whole yard smell funky...will be digging a deeper hole next time.

Oh god that smell!!! LOL So nasty! Better you than me man! Sure to give you exactly what you need tho!

Cool, cool so you're just adding a week or 2 for the plant to settle. Gotcha

And whew, mixed some of the fish emulsion and fed one of the smaller plants to see what happens. There's going to have to be a significant effect from this for me to keep going with it...so freakin smelly. Can't see how I'm going to use it in a confined space like the grow room. Will have to water and not go back in for a day or 2...

Don’t kill it yet

....too late, went back to have another look and found a double set of balls on another stalk so just cut it down. It's just some compost now. Holding thumbs for the other plant. I've just topped it again so it will have a nice set of heads and a very even canopy with very little work involved. Never seen a plant be so even with so minimal work.
