I like to top above the 5th internode, remove the bottom two leaving three internodes in tact. Sometimes I’ve got a bad memory. Have I posted the topping tutorial of mine?

So today was the last day for the ndatc (not deep at all water culture) plant, but im really impressed by the volume cal of its roots in such a small ... pot ? It’s a coffee glass where it was haha

So i continue feeding with my 2 champions and 2 losers that i feel so guilty to torture a little bit and to still let them in their ... 0,5L pots hahaha, i said it ... experimental !

Ok so i topped both of the 2 big girls at the 6th node i think : began to count after the first true set of 3 leaves and cut the at 6th node if im correct, i tried FIM on one and topping on the other ! Hope i did good but @Backlipslide bro btw i dont get it, i saw some journals where ppl cut everything up on down the third node, and begin to band the branch on the 2 sides, maybe im confused with topping and mani folding, but if i want to go for a scrog when do you think i should i begin to train and how please ?
I was about to wait at least 24/48h so girls recover

@Backlipslide btw bro because pic explain better i thought about doing this instead of leaving 3 nodes but i think im lost with fim/manifold/topping so im gonna reread those but i thought about doing like the pic following so i did like you so im sure its good and if you say too cut more i can do it (the opposit is harder when already cutted haha)

it looks like you did it right... hard to tell in pictures though. You don’t have to do it like I shown exactly. It’s more for an example. I’m sure you will be pleased with the outcome.

you said you didn’t understand so I will try and explain the method I use a bit better.

I top above the fifth internode. Not counting the cotyledons. I remove the bottom two internodes, leaving three still in tact. Leaving the three internodes, is considered a hexline (6 main tops)

sometimes the third internode reaches the top, sometimes it doesn’t. When I lollipop my plants after the stretch into flower, if that bottom two branches haven’t made it to the top canopy, I cut them off, with the lollipoping. Leaving your self with a quad line, (4 main top). Sometimes one makes it, sometimes they both do. I leave them on because on that off chance they do make it, why not leave them on.

everybody’s different and it’s up to you as an individual to find the method(s) your comfortable with.

Thanks again Mate i hope it will fit ! But please tell me, is it a mistake that ive let only those 3 nodes leaves (It helps for photosynthesis anyway hahaha) ? I mean am i right that no buds will grow except from the 2 top new growth ?

So when you say « leaving three still in tact. » it means that you dont cut one little shit out of those 3 ? I mean next time, i guess i should left not only leaves (blue color) but also some of the new growth of nodes (red circle) so they can change into buds ? Thanks mates (dont worry ill get it a day or another )

Also the girls have been transplanted into 3,5L pots since 2 weeks now, i can see some begin of root on the bottom of the pots, i was thinking about letting them into 3,5L one more week (so that would be 3 weeks into 3,5L) to then transplant into final 10 or 11L (cant remember), does it sounds correct ?

here’s an example of what I did with my green crack last run. It shot out one branch on the 4th internode(going bottom up) so I cut that off completely and topped the plant, then cut the bottom internode right off, leaving three internodes still in tact.

Yoooo old sport!!! Sorry i had to be off for a while...but thanks to you and eVeryone who helped me yesterday....here i am back today!!

You though i was gonna leave you without harvesting??

Well lot of work this last.....month so here is a quick summary:
i started 3 sensi seeds Northern Lights Fem, 2 died when they were about 7cm tall....idk why but maybe the fan killed them they « cracked » in the middle but my phone felt once in the potion i was making so...no pics haha

But the last one did it and after about a month of veg and kind of a chandeli-iiiiiiier (toping at 3rd node) and then a kind of scrog (my gf is still looking for it, as almost everything thats in the growroom hihihihi)

So nooooow we are at flowering +52 days (but minus the stretch does it mean i have to take off 1 or 2 weeks (lets say 10 days)? Then ill be at flowering about +42??

SO everything is going well so far today i stopped pk boost, feeding for one more week and then one week or less to flush with plain water

Funny thing a little bud on the left already has all his hair orange when most of them are about idk 40% but maybe because i didn’t symmetrical did my chandelier and its taking more nutes....idk but looks like the trichomes are at the same points than her sisters (mostly cloudy ill say and about less than 5% amber) so anyway next time ill do a symmetric thing to be sure everything is equitably split

Ps: i also stoped heating the room during the night so it causes a good little stress yes? Well about 25-26°C day and 17-19°C night does it looks correct to you or is it bullshit (i also read only more cbn if temp differences Day/night...who knows)

Temps look ok, you could even lower them a few degrees. Just don't go lower then 16c.

Well for the under 16°C gonna be though because I cant do more than letting the windows open to cool the room (and also i sleep in the same room and my gf wont allow less than 17)C i guess hahaha
