Nismo's First Grow - 2 x 600 Watt - CKS Purple Kush - 4x4

Well today was a big day for all of the girls. The lights are now off for 16 hours and will come back on in the morning. We changed the bulbs to HPS and cleaned all the glass and the filter cover. The HPS bulbs put off a shit ton more light and more heat. Everything is good though.

I have had some of these HID glasses but never really used them with the MH but they make a huge difference with the HPS

Got the veg tent all setup. Light is at 50% so 300 watts. Temp is holding steady at 79. Humidity is mid 30s currently. Also, 4 of 5 of the new girls popped yesterday and they moved right on in.

Got another camera and all hooked up.

Gave the big girls a water before they took their nap, they were looking thirsty. Everybody have an awesome weekend. I sure am!

Hey things look good..just put them in flower..I just had a 20 lb charcoal filter fall 2 weeks ago crushing 3 main colas. Taped them up there fine..as long as the branch is still connected it good..
By the way I always laugh when I see that George Constansa picture..that was some funny shit back then..

And here I was about to change it lol. That is in no way any resemblance of myself, but I thought it was funny one day and wanted to be original.

But yeah I just put her into flower. They were still connected so I said screw it. They were also tied to the scrog holding them up, so I really couldn't move her to the other tent. But this is a very exciting time!

Well they have noticeably have grown so far.

Just after lights out

Then after the 16 hours and lights back on

Then a traditional door shot of the girls.

Today I'm going to spend some time with the time lapse and see if can get a time lapse of veg posted up here today.

We are going to have a full screen in no time. I've been weaving them through the screen to open them up and have an even canopy. We shall see how that goes though.

Well I've been having some issues the last couple days. The timer on the lights got a mind of its own since I made the switch. It has decided to shut off halfway through the lights on. But luckily my camera noticed it and told me. So lights were off for about 10 minutes yesterday. Then after lights out about 2 hours later they turned back on for about 45 mins. Needless to say the fancy timer I have is junk and getting a new one today.

With 2 600 watt HPS bulbs in my tent, it has rose the Temps to 90 degrees. So the lights are turned down to 450 each to bring Temps down and it has done so, sitting at 81 right now. But one of the lights will be coming out today I could run them both at 450.

In my veg tent (which will get its own journal) they are doing great under 450 watts idling at 76 degrees.

Well today is one for the books. Good old Claudia decided she was hungry today and wilted a good amount. She didn't look like that this morning. So when I got home I mixed up their feeding and Claudia and Elaine both got watered and fed (two on the right). Between the 2 of them, 3 gallons before I got some runoff. I sprayed the leaves since lights would go out in 15 minutes. Left and came back 10 minutes later and she was looking loads better already. Holy cow an improvement!

In my veg tent everyone is looking swell. The one back middle, she sprouted with a helmet. In the attempt to take it off, she came out of the soil. I then got the shell off and replanted and a touch of water. She is coming slowly.

That's it for today. Stressful.

Thanks man. I've had a few issues with my setup the last few days with my setup. Hopefully we have the kinks worked out. I didn't think just changing the bulbs would have as big of an effect as what they had. Only have had them in flower since Sunday and really haven't noticed that much of a stretch. I bet they will pick up since two of them got fed last night. The other two might get fed today depending on how they look.

What up boss, been gone for awhile so decided what the hell and started back from page 1, and man nismo what a great journal excellent job!! I dont think you could get your scrog to look any better nismo everything looks top shelf and hell im excited about it!! And how about that dog of yours what a champ, hope you hooked it up with some beer and bacon for going in there and monster cropping some of the garden like that for you, thats real teamwork right there hoss!! Good catch on the lights to good thing you had that camera, i envy all your new toys and gadgets! Im starting a fresh journal soon and i hope to have you there ill need ya. Well we had an incident last night. Over the evening hours I had one of my dogs somehow weasel himself in to the tent through an intake hole in the bottom. Luckily he did not eat any of them but he did break a few main branches on one of them. They did not break completely. So some tape and string is holding them up. Needless to say, she will not be going into flower Saturday. She will get another week or two in the other tent to repair.

Hey Nismo, I've read about accidentally broken branches in other journals and they almost always turn out yielding higher than the undamaged plants. These plants seem to love a bit of adversity and I think you'll be pleasantly surprised once she heals up.

Yeah I noticed you had been gone. There hadn't been any updates for a bit on your journal. My girls are looking great have recovered nicely since my little incident.

But thanks for the compliments on my setup. I'm happy with it

Since it did happen a lot of undergrowth is starting to pop up so maybe it was for the best. Definitely wasn't as bad as I thought it was going to be.

The other two pots have garlic in them. Natural pest repellent. Also tames the smell a bit.

Might as well give ya my flower tent also. Oh I'm happy with them today!

Today I dropped another pineapple chunk bean since the other one must not like the light. I took its helmet off and it hasn't changed. I also don't want it to be too far behind the other ones.

All girls have been fed this week in flower. It is really starting to show! Hard to believe I have another 2 months.

Well Temps are upper 70s and humidity is mid 30s for both. Everyone is looking great.

Thanks man! I've been following yours. 420 has been blowing up my phone from your journal. Lol. Looking great yourself.

But I've been paying Super close attention to them and listening to what they have to say. I like the way 4 girls fill the tent. I have 5 going now...so I'm thinking about flowering the next 4 then leave one to veg for a total of 4 months. Go for the legendary 1 pound plant. I'll be training hardcore here in a week.

Well I noticed today that all 4 of them decided to show their sex! Even though being feminized seeds I kinda knew lol

Also got a new green LED. It lights it up pretty well if I do say so

Oh and I tried some white widow today. Well I will be ordering some for the next run lol.
