I haven't started looking into sealed environments......can you share what you did for that and what you need to have as a baseline in terms of room? I am looking at going that direction when we finally get our place in the location we want it.

Not much actually has to go into it. First we built the room and properly insulated the walls and even out some on the floor to create a barrier from the concrete. Added some plywood to make it a firm surface again. After that, the panda film went up on the walls, ceiling, and floor. Made sure everything was pulled tight and taped to create a "seal". As for the entrance, there is a door with gasket material on it to create a tight seal and we have a zipper door in the panda film to get into the room. So we basically have a "buffer" zone or "air lock". That's about it for the room itself.

We have a few pictures this morning and everything is looking just fine. The ones with the tacoing and pulling out of it with the new growth, so we got passed that issue.


The super iced grapefruits are showing some real promise. Three of them are identical and the other two are a tad different.

Most of them are New Year babies, a few sprouted on the 2nd and 3rd. Then the newest ones sprouted over the last few days. I haven't looked in on them today, but I'm hoping the seed I buried in the aloe fillet has decided to make an appearance. More news to come later after I have my delicious blt sushi. Lol!

Ok! Took a tv timeout to go check on the babies. Woo hoo!!! What a delight that was!! We gave the older sisters a drink yesterday, and boy are they happy today! They are all standing so tall and proud of how big they have become. Some of the girls are even showing roots at the bottoms of their pots. One day the are innocent little ladies, and the next day they are all "girls gone wild"! Hussies showing their roots like that! Why I never!



The first two pics are a shot of the group of them,the 3rd pic is the Northern Lights Auto. She's wide but not too tall. She has a nice node spacing too.

The 4th pic is One of the Super Iced Grapefruits. She's quite a bit taller than the autos, but her structure is remarkable and her nodes are at a good spacing also.

Then we have a top shot of the Black Indica. She's not as tall as the SIG, but she's got some beautiful fan leaves there soaking up the light.

That brings us to one of the Jedi Glue (Reg) just as happy as can be!

And the last two are the aloe pot with the fillet buried, and a pic of the germ8nated seed in the fillet. Now we just wait for her to poke out of the soil! So exciting!!
