Yeah they are a pain to fill and consume from. If this hash thing works out I might look for some little plastic tweezers to go with it. Or a mini spatular thing for just kief.My first thought was that jars with narrower tops than sides are shite.
So I have a thought here as well: in nature, the hours of daylight peak on June 20th and ever so slowly (minutes/day) work down to 12/12 on Sept 22nd. In a tent, we slam from 18/6 or 20/4 or whatever down to 12/12 overnight. I would think that would be enough to "shock" the plant into flower rather than having to go all the way out to 36 hours of dark, which never occurs in nature. I'd love to see someone take a pair of matching clones and start one at 12/12 and one at 36/0 and then run them side by side to see if there is some gain in harvest timing. Maybe I should add that to my list of things to keep me busy in retirement...
Re: lighting yes I see that - I’ve thought about slowly reducing by an hour so 18-6 to 17-7 etc, every two days. A slow flip. Its mostly not been done as I hate opening the electrical boxes and fiddling around with a toothpick pressing the tiny buttons to change the timers!
We have the 35 in the other tent getting flipped today as well so we have some comparison. Though as we all know pure comparisons are quite hard due to timings and well that light is a bit different etc.
Also retiring! Dude you’re like 10 years younger than my Dad! Him and my Mum would both go mad he retired
