Nick Hardy's Big Grow 2023 Gorilla Glue Skunk 11 OG Kush Coco Peat Co2 Mars Hydro

Watered the burnt looking ones with some light cal mag water at Ph 6. They didn’t really need anything put pushing whatever is in there out. The worst ones are pushing out 7+ Ph water. The best <6.5 i want 6.5 in and 5.8 out like before. Water has changed from the well so Ph downing it.

The rest full whack for non Co2. Which is back on for the rest of the day. Because…I like a bit of Gas Mark 6 😂

Below an indicative picture. The Skunk 11 are the ones with the issues at the front. OG Kush towards the back. Have one mild issue with a Gorilla Glue. Same as the Skunk 11 which is an outlier.

Maybe some bugs on some plants. Insect Inspector Manager spotted them. Furious. Gonna spray them tomorrow. Its fixable. If the watering system was ready on time this wouldn’t have happened. I turn up to work 365 days a year on time. 7 days of “tomorrow, tomorrow” from the builders.

You must have a pretty heavy duty pump in mind if it’s going to be to that many plants and going against gravity yes? CL🍀
The builders are actually plumbers by trade. How we met off a Facebook search. They know the use case and bought the pump. Told them I need to shift up to 200L of water from downstairs to upstairs in twenty minutes max. Sent them $125 today to buy a pump capable of that

They get it. Pumps cheap here. Has a separate breaker wired in already.

😎

Yeah mad. Never post on Facebook. But did today as there was memory my wife liked so reposted it. This was my first advert. Too funny. Not many people will be getting this:

wow that's a droolingly nice set up. the watering rings are a cool touch but you can just go direct once the plants are established.

we ran 200 plants from two pre-mix reservoirs using manifolds and spaghetti lines. we used washing machine pumps which we salvaged for free. they are low pressure, and our reservoirs were only 12ft away on the same level. you'll need to ensure equal length lines to each plant so they receive the same amounts.

my pops worked in hvac and built hockey rink ice plants. he helped us put it together. he's worked on most of my indoor spaces over the years.

some issues we had were reservoirs being too small, we constantly found ourselves mixing, and no matter how we fiddled with the system we never got each plant receiving the exact same amount, it did get close though. make sure you have enough reservoir. some plants we had to pay extra attention to.

@bluter thanks!

Yep exactly how I see it with water and the Co2. Pipe length critical with the gas. With how the water system is designed its turn on each plant one by one so less an issue. Can’t see more than 24 plants on this system. Greenhouse grow maybe similar numbers to yours 150 - 200 plants different plan.

Being in SE Asia what seems like mega spend on pumps or whatever in Europe/North America is not can be 10% the price - but I do love a recycled pump or AC unit. The pumps so cheap new I’m OK with this one.

Love you did it with your Dad - ai’d say truthfully my Dad never been great at stuff like upcycling washing machine pumps so we didn’t get that time together. But he’s a lawyer which has had more practical use to me over the years 😂

Love ya Dad if you’re still reading x

Me and my Old Man definitely had are struggles but he was old school wrench turner and any basic internal combustion engine he prolly could rebuild blindfolded in a 1/2 hr. I’m thankful for everything he taught me but his methods could’ve been nicer. CL🍀

Nah trust me - happy to have had a lawyer for a Dad. He’s been very helpful over the years with that trade 😂

My A Grade Bruce Banner on the shelves finally. So happy. Their most expensive p/g. Its about $23USD but that’s a marketing thing.

Hope they sell lots.

They should be careful with the Boveda packs, I've had issue in the past with them ruining bud but if it's not in there long I guess it might be okay. I find an airtight jar like that should be more than sufficient on it's own and stay away from anything like that.

I'm speaking from personal experience but when it happened at the time I looked online and found others with a similar issue so might be worth mentioning to them. On the flip side many must use them without issues but I'm an anti-Boveda rep now

Sorry to hear about the bugs ! Very cool to see the BB Limitless(tm) in jars :goodjob:

I could see where having a lawyer in the family would be greatly useful just from my own life and how much $ was given them. But knowing my Pops he wouldn’t have represented me. I called once collect from jail n was told I got myself in there now get yer self out. lol CL🍀

we had our troubles over the years. he kinda figured out all the folk i associate with were kinder and more helpful than the ones he thought i should be at one point, then things changed and got more fun.

been storing with boveda for 15 yrs. you just have to do it right and seal it airtight with a proper cure. i have 2yr old bud testing as good as 3 month cured. i never smoke bud that unless it had at least a 3 month cure now after burping. nothing has ever degraded until after the third yr in storage.

On the flip side many must use them without issues but I'm an anti-Boveda rep now

if you cure decent and go through it fast enough there is no need for them at all. i know folk who vacuum pack and freeze as well but i'm not as much of a fan over straight jarring.

Yeah sorta like that. But not for me. He always taught me the skills. I got arrested at Glastonbury Festival with like 3oz’s. Aged 16 on my way in. So Juvie. The cops wanted me in a Children’s Home overnight and driven 4 hours home. They were furious when he spoke to them after we’d had a private call and he said “You’ll let him go and get a social worker to deliver him to the festival gates” I got a verbal warning 3 months later while sitting in the Chief Inspectors chair in his his office behind his desk being told ai could could one day have that desk after the school reports they’d read. I was blitzed on vodka and weed. My Dad in a suit on a Saturday furious. “And because the offence occurred one week before my 17th birthday the caution is immediately expunged from my record?”
- Yes!
Rarely seen my Dad look angrier.

I thought what happens @ Glasgo stayed there? Lmao 🤣 CL🍀

Re: Bovida packs - just how everyone sells here. Not my problem now. Fingers crossed they shift it quick. I keep mine in Grove Bags

Re Glasto - yeah you get caught with that much weight at the train station due to your mate being a retard its potentially a “supply” offence. I could have gone to jail. I got nothing but a verbal warning while sitting in the Chief Inspectors Chair behind his 100 year old desk looking out on my Dad and a Sergeant.

Lucky.

Potassium deficiency has occurred to me (@Weffalo had it recently so in my mind) but I’ll know today because it will be worse as they’ve not been getting nutes for two days. My mate having the same issue with same medium and Dutch Pro fert fixed like this.

Bugs lets hope just spider mites which seem to be really common here and after a few days of treatment they’re gone.

??? I’m lost. Where are these jars sitting (and being sold?)?

This is the watering system I was looking for:

That reminds me of the old Simpson Star Wars helmets from the 80's.
Sorry I fell behind Amigo. :Namaste:
I'm spread pretty thin lately.
Is everything ok?

@Bill284 All good mate. Some corrective measures going on, a runaway Co2 issue which actually helped killing the spider mites 😂 The overwatering/nute issues dealt with on the plants that had it, all coming back strong and watering system done I am promised by this time tomorrow. AzaMax ordered for future use. Alcohol at 30% on walls and airpots for now.

Just an average couple of days for a family with 20 plants and not much experience 😂

Kung Hei Fat Choi / Happy New Year in Cantonese - for tomorrow - so day job been really quiet today which is awesome.

Flipping tomorrow. Popping 21 more on Sunday. 21 of the magic beans. Excited as hell.

Nick

Woohooo 21 more. :thumb:
If you use my potting method it's very very difficult to overwater.
Just saying, hehe.;)
