Newty’s Perpetual Pantry Party & Outdoor Grow Show

Just in to say......"TAG, your it!!"

 as he runs away....:yahoo:

I really have No clue, but Those Mango and coconut Sure sounds good! Can you grow all Year round then?

Yes, I garden outdoors year round. Was picking strawberries and tomatoes in January!
Mango season is May-July depending on the year and they are like candy straight off the tree! The coconuts are ever-bearing and once the novelty wears off they become those things that fall 30' and dent your car LOL

Haha or on your head!
I bit late here but how did your buds smell after cure @newty ? Mine didn't have much aroma and wondering if it's my drying technique or growing in coco.
Hi there and welcome...never late here!

Mine smelt like hay or nothing really for the first week and now I get a knockout punch smell when I open them. The ones I slow dried in the fridge got their dank smell first!

interesting...my first few rounds smelled like hay, and the last few harvests smell like tea bags? pleasant but weird. different strains indica/sativa and all but not really that spicey/sour/funky "weed" smell, more of a sweet potpourri smell. Maybe because I've been curing in old jelly jars? LOL

I think the smell is a couple of things. One is drying too fast which the fridge will not do but hang drying in the winter is tough to dry them slow. The other thing are the strains. Most of what we grow is boutique weed as I like to call it. It is bred to taste/smell like citrus, pine. berry ....etc. even the stuff I got from the dispensary doesn't smell like good ole skunk. Curing goes a long way from what I am seeing. The buds start to get more compact and smell better after being in the jars for a month or so.

Fak I must have messed up the curing process then, was def hay smell even after long cure. Had considered rehydrating them but down to the last jar of shake so not worth it, but hopefully my WW I just finished gets that dank smell. Even tho it smelt like nothing when grown

Thanks Flash! They are cheese autos so I think they just flipped;) they are in full stretch now, they are day 43

Love these Autos. When they kick into stretch they put on about 35 mm a day.

Ah, yes I grow all year indoors/out. But only grow meds indoors b/c I have pool guys/lawn guys that come every week. Although I usually take a break in the summer because it gets really hot in the garage where my tents are and to free up time to travel, etc. Although I'm running an AC this year and am trying some heat tolerant strains (thai stick)...but the AC is already struggling to hold it in the 80's in March! Also, we have LOTS of bugs here. So, trying to keep pests to a minimum while I'm at it. If it went full legal here I'd just have a dozen buckets of autos in the back yard year round, just pop a new seed or two every few weeks LOL

Always action in here when I turn my back! Lol

Stupid work getting in the way...

I’ll reply to y’all when I get home tonight but here’s my newest tutorial that I uploaded at work;)

Now back to work!

Tell the Mr. that you could always use the tub/shower instead of the sink. :) I am lucky in that I have a tub in the laundry room but the wife still complains about the mess. I start from brick. That may make more of a mess or I am just a messy dude. I know I am when I cook.

I do wash my coco a little different. My wife works in the medical field and I get the throw away pillow cases from her. After rehydrating the brick I throw it in those and run tap water over them, I ring them out and then repeat until what I squeeze out water wise matches the tap ppm and is clear. From there on we do things very similar same way. :)

Wow the price on your nutrients is different. Things much be more expensive up there. Something to look for when you come to the states. Not sure what the laws on that are though. Those bottles of AN here are down around 12.00-14.00USD which is about 15.50-18CAD.

OK one other thing that I noticed. I asked you before about how you keep your plants so short, as mine and others get much taller. I am starting to see why. You start your training really early. I let mine grow from seed a bit before I start bending and tying them down. That is a good note to take if people need to control their height.

Man taking the day off while the wife is at work and toking up is the way to go.

Sam the man! Nice to see ya:) post a pic here I’m dying to see the stretch in action over there. I just love stretch...I have 3 different phases of flower going on currently so I’m rolling in stretch right now
I agree that the defoiling process takes time to get to know. It’s all just a learning process for me and once I get the feel of something I know it;) so simple lol

As you requested I took some pics today. I got all my machines to our annual product introduction and they are successes so I blew today off to do......... nothing. :)

It's very cool to see this stuff in videos. I'm barely keeping up with regular updates! Good news I fixed my computer so I am back in action! Still busy as hell though and can't wait for my vacation in a couple weeks!
