I was just going to do a small chunk because it’s going into 3 solo cups right now. But now I’m thinking, would it be ok to rehydrate the whole brick and then just let the rest sit there for a couple/few weeks? I bought a big bag of soil for my last grow and then while it was sitting in the garage, it got taken over by knats. Just a little paranoid about that happening again.
If you have access to a band saw or sawzaw you can cut sections off the main brick and then wrap it back up so nothing gets in it. Just re-hydrate what you need. That is what I do when I don't want the whole brick re-hydrated. You can just soak one side with just a little water at a time to get what you need. Just let the brick dry out where it was in the water then wrap it back up. I don't re-hydrate any more than I will use because of bugs.
Like Newty said when using the bricks just rinse the crap out of it before charging it for use.

Just noticed my gal @hortishorti started a new journal. She was my first friend on 420 and has a lot of great skills! She’s doing a coco grow if anyone wants to join the fun

Update time for AMNESIA TRANCE, BLUE DREAM, HAWAIIAN TRINITY, CBD OG KUSH & MOBY DICK
So I update my nutrient change on the previous page, I won’t update that until I see any changes, good or bad
So far they seem great!
I was thinking as the buds get fatter for these gals and the night temps get colder here, I need to watch for mold. I decided since I’ve added more fans it’s likely dipping below 60F in the tents. Hubs likes to freeze us at night. I have a space heater that I use in my bedroom blasted on me, I have sacrificed this luxury for my gals. #momoftheyear
Since I couldn’t possibly plug one more thing in that room
I ran an extension cord from my room (seperate breaker) to the grow room and I turn it on ‘auto’.
I do this once the hubs goes to bed...LOL He did say yesterday that the fans sounded a lot louder #uhoh #impushingit
I came into the room this morning and it was so warm! Yay
Also, it’s helping keep RH down in the room itself! I’m still watching for bud rot, mold or hermies daily!
Blue Dream just gets a lil pic because she was out of the tent for hermie checks and a slight after stretch defoliation. These were all taken on Saturday, Day 23
What a crazy beast! Remember when I said she stopped stretching? That was a lie! She grew a bit more and has finally stopped right below my carbon filter, back left out of the direct light for obvious reasons.
Amnesia Trance also Day 23. She is my best plant right now, size and girth wise. She’s a healthy gal
CBD OG Kush Day 47 after a trim and stretching
Looking cool! Took a 3rd major defoliation which I don’t always do. I had to do this for Buffy, Heather and Lil Dickie!! I’ll call this final stretch defoliation.

Heather, Hawaiian Trinity Day 47 and is solid bud! Looking everywhere for bud rot but so far so good. I just needed to open up the middle for light and air flow.

Moby Dick Day 33 also very Indica looking and thick short colas. Lots of fattening up time too...which excites me She needed the same as heather and I opened up the middle for light and airflow.
I got 1 full zip just from these last 2 and the RH dropped from 60% to 50%
For fan leaf oil to make more breakfast muffins!!

Your BD looks slightly different from Amy's!
Even after the thinning it's one solid bud. Get that thing in front of the fan!

Those fatties are directly in front of the hurricane fan blowing up and in the bush with a clip fan above
If I move them any closer to the hurricane it gets stuck on the pot and goes click click click (very close)

WTF is going on with that Blue Dream.... LOL That thing took off like there was a clown with a knife chasing it (not you Penny). That thing is totally different that mine. Mine is a runt and the worst plant of the grow. I may try another seed at some point in the future but I am not impressed.
Your amnesia is looking great. Yours looks a lot like mine. I made the mistake of touching mine and had to get the alcohol out to keep my thumb and index finger from sticking together. I see you were smarter than I and wore gloves.
All your plants are looking top notch as always. You are going to be swimming in bud here soon like Dutch. I would tell you that will be a lot of trimming but that would only excite Ms. Scissor Hands.
