Something is making my non-flowering weed smell like weed. Aren't terpenes stored in the trichomes?
Beautiful! Yes canbabinoids, terpenes, flavonoids are all found in the different trichomes glands or resin;) That’s exactly why our weed smells before buds because they are all over the plant.

Low, Come get a bottle of molasses?? Amazon made me buy two lol

We can try together! Coco does not hold nutrients as well as some mediums, the cation exchange capacity is not as great as soil which is why deficiencies are easier to correct with flushing. So the coco will only need a few days flush rather than say 14 days.

Let the experiment begin. I have always feed straight water with a little flush agent for the last two day. I am interested to see what you find out.

I’m using 1/2 teaspoon per gallon as per www.growweedeasy.com

That’s the same stuff I have:)
Alas, even Nebula gives some conflicting advice! Lol, I’m learning there really is no such thing as a straight answer in this weed growing game! Good to know you’re not going to accidentally give it too much though. I gave mine a full teaspoon per gallon and they did fine with it. I think Ase adds his even earlier into his bloom phase? This was the info I saw on the GWE site:

Haha that’s so funny, 2 different articles. I would think the difference would be minimal. Less is more for this girl :)

I was using bud candy before the molasses but ran out so thought why not:D

Also I did not link the article properly

I'm happy you started molasses Newty. Amounts people use vary from low of 1/2 tsp/gal up to 2 TBSP/gal from what I'm finding. A local old timer put me onto it this past summer. He suggested using it starting in veg and going to finish at 1 TBSP/gal feeding the soil herd along the way. I let it glug by eye.
What are your thoughts on molasses in veg and the higher amounts I see in other places?

I think as Newty pointed out that coco is a little different. Even though it is hydro the solution isn't saturating the root area. DWC and other forms of hydro with a reservoir are where the organics require a different level of control so bacteria doesn't go wild.

I def have smoked decarb herb mixed with some herb that was a little to fresh to smoke by itself, it was MAJAH! MMMMMMM great suggestion I can taste it now.

So after every oil session there is always some decarbed herb and oil paste that is left over. Instead of just throwing it all away, I have been collecting it over a year, and this is the potent stuff that is left over in the machine and after I strain it. I have about half a jar now of it and it should be a concentrate by now. Every time I open it to put my left over stuff in, it smells like a decarb bakery of thick concentrate. MMMMM, can't wait to use it in some way. I call it swamp oil now. It must have at least 6 different strains in it by now. Most recently my Candida went in and I shook it all up. Just kinda saving it for something special.

Congrats on your school grades, just proves that Cannabis does not hold you back from achieving.

I do roughly the same thing when I'm harvesting after I trim the buds and they are dried about to go into jars an u do that one last final trim I collect all tht from the different strains I run n gather it all in one bundle n do a concentrate run with it and man talk about Terpy heaven lol. From the numerous strains used it gives such a unique flavor I love doing it lol.

Sam nailed it! Less is more in coco and I’m likely still feeding the heard. :D In my thinking, you could provide sugar and carbs all through veg but they don’t really need it as much or can get what they need from the other feed I’m giving so it’s a waste in my opinion. If anyone has some science on this I’d gladly take a look. The other reason I’m using less is because I’ve screwed myself and my plants before by just blindly following what I read on the internet (I have been bad for that) lol I don’t want to fuck this up in the last few weeks so I’ll start slow and perhaps when I do the actual end flush, I’ll up it to a teaspoon per gallon :p #livingontheedge

hahaha terpy heaven is right!! Multistrained mash is my new fav and I can’t wait to make a serious 9 strain bud oil at the endo_Oo_Oo_O
