Newty’s Perpetual Pantry Party & Outdoor Grow Show

Newty is that your first Canuk strain? They did the Kushy Kush that both G2HM and I both loved. I heard mixed things about Canuk but was really impressed with the KKush, so I might try something else of theirs sometime.
Yes it’s my first time with Canuk! I have 2 more QPA and I’m saving them for outdoors next year, no topping lol I’ve heard good things about kushy Kush!

Hi Sis - Little Miss STUDY! I really enjoyed your update and you really make me laugh. I'm actually learning from your reviews. You're very Cree-ative.

Your Candida there in flower will throw pistils no worries, it just takes a while to transition this plant, also, you'll develop more crystals than big buds, so don't worry if the buds aren't big. Honestly, it kinda grows like hemp, but takes twice as long. The amount of crystals was staggering so that is where your meds are. When I made oil, it was lush and strong.

Kushy Kush is a "Clear-headed" Kush with 24% (allegedly) THC. I actually discovered it accidentally for my clearheaded oils. I would say that it's a coveted strain and you can't go wrong with the body pain control it provides with no euphoria, just very uplifting. I love Canuk strains but some of them I do question their descriptions and origins. Just being honest, but the strains I've grown to date I've had 99% germination rate too, which is awesome for clumsy me. I have really good luck with their selection and I've never had an issue with them at all.

QP's to me smell and taste like grape, mmmmm, very easy to grow, short in stature, wider buds. I've topped her too.

Oops brain ramble. hahahaha Anyways, I love seeing your face, and our resemblances. is that even a word? hahahah just smoke a Peyote Critical J and wanted to hang out with yah.

Give your dogs a kiss for me. hugs sis.

Goooo BUFFY!

I figured out the cannabinoid profile (thc/cbd) of mg/ml of the oil you sent, thanks to my pal @InTheShed
Per 1 ml I have roughly
THC-7.5 mg/ml
CBD-21 mg/ml
I’m currently taking 1ml 3x per day but I think I’d like to up it, since that’s only 60ish mg of CBD for the whole day, I should double that. I just ordered my capsules etc fr
Need a cbd strain sooish.
Right now I’m barely leaving my house and living my life like Dwight from the office!
I feel ya.
’m so looking forward to havjng the Candida dona and oil ready! It’s months away and I’m itchy already... that 14-20% CBD level is going to make higher dosing much much easier.
Candida need to pop one .Find it interesting for certain/
By memory Sue’s DDAs often bring the colour late. Besides, apparently the green pheno is a very super toke! It looks awesome for where it’s up to. Most of the DDA grows I’ve watched indicate that they put on a lot of everything in the final 3rd of the grow. Some folks like to let them go to 100+ days too. Have you popped her into the DDA community grow ?
Was looking at Dynamos Dda's always tiny? Or someone grow a big one out?
I can't take any credit for the spreadsheet though, just the instructions and the need to pass it along great to anyone who can use it (and do the calcs for Amy and anyone else who needs them done). Oldbear did the work of putting it together and letting it loose on the site!
You are my math guy forever !:goodjob:
Always knew you were a scholar now you have it on paper. Your killing it girl and this community is so proud of your hard work. Press till the end and reap it's rewards that you so deserve.
What Derb siad,
You can come to us with any news and be well accepted. You're the newty
What Derb said
hahahah just smoke a Peyote Critical J and wanted to hang out with yah.
I need to pop some PC beans soon. Have a few laying around how's it hit you Lady Grow?

Oh yeah! That blue Dream  it does look good! That inner branching thing it does it pretty wild isn’t it!? Mine was thick thick thick, as you know. Good shape and form you have going with it. I think the node spacing is more generous than my pheno so I reckon yours is shaping to be pretty speccy :yummy:

Awesome review newty, your review blows mine away.

I'm so glad you enjoyed it, especially the Tuna Kush. I am indeed pretty proud of how it turned out. I'm with you, there is 0 anxiety whatsoever regardless of how much of it you consume. It's a strong high but not overwhelming, lots of body high that I look for, and such a positive head high. I love the smell and taste, it has those smells and tastes of the purer indicas I've tried. I read before that Tuna Kush was believed to be a Hindu Kush phenotype and it wouldn't surprise me to find out the two are related.

The Green Crack is strong... that long morning buzz you mentioned didn't surprise me at all. I've gotten a good 3 hours off of a j - that's a lot for me. I expected it to be more sativa for me, but I give it a little more of an indica side than I expected - it definitely has the head effects you mentioned but I give it more body effects than the average sativa too. My tolerance is really high, and I can get blasted on this. I really like the spicy / sweet mix of flavour you mentioned too.

I vape mostly, but burn js of all my stuff to try it, and I was really happy with how these burned and glad you noticed that, and also I thank you for noticing the care I took to cure it to the consistency I like. The cure is such an important part of making sure the experience ends up where it should.

My criticisms of it? For the Tuna, there's not much. But I stressed the Chemdawg I had in the tent too much with heat and it hermied, and had a burst pollen sac. I think maybe the stress pushed the Tuna to be even better, like the old grower's myth. But, it did mean immature seeds in some spots. Not sure if you found any, hopefully not, but it's there in some of the buds. I've actually found 8 mature seeds among the bud from those plants, and I'm really tempted to grow them out and see what happens. Chem Tuna sounds like it would be really nice!

As for the Green Crack, I don't know, as strong as the high is, I guess the laid back nature of the Tuna appeals to me more. The GC is still something I'll have fun with, but the Tuna is old reliable, giving me exactly what I'm looking for when I reach for it.

My other criticism is that I used coconut oil to oil and clean my trimmer blades while I trimmed and maybe overdid it, as it left tiny bits of residue that re-hardened during drying into tiny white spots here and there on the buds. Coconut oil avoids rancidification pretty well, and these buds should be good for a few more months stored at room temperature before that becomes a possibility, but it's a live and learn thing - I'll likely just take the pain in the ass of having stickier trimmer blades next time. I'll say my excuse is that I was hurting big time and trimming was a major chore, so I wanted to make it as easy on myself as possible!

I wasn't doing well at the end of flower for this, so the last shot I have of the tent, and this was a week or two before things started coming down. I think a week before the Tuna was chopped and 2 before the GC and Chem were. That's the Tuna Kush in front, which had a little foxtailing from the high heat; the Chemdawg back left, in retrospect not filling in as I'd hoped because it had hermied; and the Green Crack back right, a little behind the Tuna in maturity but way ahead in size.

I really got nothing from that point on, but I snapped a pic of a Green Crack stem while trimming to show one of my friends... used the PS4 controller for scale! The GC was pretty nice to trim in retrospect - or maybe less awful, since I hate trimming.

Thanks again for all the kind words newty! It means more coming from a fellow grower!

Thanks to dobe for the history lesson on the name. It's something that would have turned me off from buying it. I love fish but not the smell. Too much fish cleaning in my life time.

So the question I have is "burns slow and stays lit. So what is the magic to getting that to happen? My GSC is like that but my train wreck and cheese have issues with staying lit. My RH is 60%.`

Hit it more, quicker. Lol

Like PW says, it’s best added CO2 in mid to late flower and you would need to increase light intensity, temperature and nutrients for it to be effective. And your right Blaze, unless you have your tent sealed up, it’s a waste in a small space like mine:)

School is harder than I thought but it’s only because it’s so fast paced. I’m LOVING it, learning so much my brain is going to explode most days. I have this last week left for all the book learning stuff and I’ve completed the 4 courses. I’m booked to complete my 3 week field study in February about 2 hours away. I’m hoping they like me so much they offer me a job:) I was checking my grades last night in my favourite class and wanted to brag a bit because #hardworkpaysoff
