I just ordered a 192 but will only be using it for veg

Problem with a lot of the cheap lights is they don't have enough red to effectively flower. My suggestion would be to grab some smaller led bulbs or rail lights and just add lighting in on the sides in the red spectrum and that will fill your bottom nugs out well!

Some people even run the mars panels Shorti has on the sides, it seems to be pretty effective to bomb plants with light lol it makes plants go crazy fat super fast too bad there's no way well get near that price of 69 bucks in Canada XD

I bought the mars hydro 480. It hasn't arrived yet but it had very good revels and the price was out standing $139. Did I through away money? Time will tell. But this is my first grow inside and was looking for an economical light source that won't cost a small fortune in electricity. I get mine on Tuesday

No way that you threw away any money. Mars Hydro has great bang for the buck lights. The ones without a name at all are the ones that scare me. I think you made a good choice. You can always upgrade later on down the road and use this light for veg/clones or even just as an extra supplemental light for your flower tent.

I am so grateful to have many people watching out! I had a gut feeling it was a no but wanted some insight. Horti my gal! Always got my back and I appreciate the research you do, thank you.
So it's my last day in Ottawa and I text my gf, whom grew up here this morning to see what I need to see before I go. She takes forever to get up and I'm 3 hours ahead of her so I decided not to wait for direction! First thing I did was get a current list of dispensaries in downtown Ottawa curtesy of WEEDMAP WM lol than I picked the best one and stormed in with my legal card! Then I spent 200 on assorted yum yums and prd's . Almost as fun as Farmacy . The place was called WEEDS lol can't go wrong!

I'll be home tomorrow all and I'm gonna get a good snug session in with my dogs, plants and hubs all in that order.I will be on to update after that! I have to be at the airport tomorrow morning at 4 am so it'll be an early one for this girl!

I think Mars Hydro did a cyber-monday thingy last year. Might be worth looking into and then you can have a good deal and get the Mars lights. Lights are super important and you want to make sure that you think a little down the road on what your end goal for growing might be and the space you will be doing the grows in.

I got some great deals on all my lights by trawling ebay for a month, seems like there are lots of good deals lurking about in new and 2nd hand LED's. I got my whole set up for about $500 AUD, I lost a few auctions but I snagged some great bargains.

Thanks guys! I am trying to make a good decision thinking forward and what not. IMO lights are the most important expense and without wanting to break the bank and piss off the hubs, I'm looking at these 3

Seeing as I won't be able to buy 2 lights right now, I'll need them to fit in the tent with my 300 and I want for flowering. I'm growing for myself so I don't need pounds of weed but I'd like to get a good yeild.That being said I'm not really able to spend more than 350 Canadian without pissing off the boss. I realize a couple of these are pushing 400 so I'd prob have to get the smaller ones unless I can get creative or make some side cash?? fun fact...I make best selling Uglie Xmas Sweaters and sell them around this time Brings in a few extra bucks every year!

Oh man it's been a while but this is worth the wait!! These #ladyboys have tripled in size over the past 5 days. They have bushes inside bushes and the pics don't do them justice. Hubs did a good job and I told him that. He said he's attached to them now and could wait to see them grow each day! .yay!

So I need more Coco! Lol I planted the ones I could in my half strength AN Grow A and B with full strength cal-max in pre-charged Coco. I just placed the whole clone with rooter into the Coco pots. I did the most urgent first, some of those roots are crazy . I will need to get some supplies for the rest and probably find homes for some of these.There were 0 roots 5 days ago, just crazy!

Anyhoo, I'll be catching up and checking in soon but for now Im doing this.

I agree that's what I thought too. Just some calcium from water drops of soemthing. Will have to give one of the girls to ur hubby. Get him involved. Get him while he's interested before he goes back to his normal routine and ditches the girls.

Last time they had premix coco/perlite so i didn't get any. Also I have a couple 1 gal air pots if u want to get them started in. Can't believe we have clone success. Fuck yea. Hubby has a green thumb.
