Newbie here needs help or advice first time please

Drop the PH a little more around 5.5-5.8. Temps are good. Also the water level is to high. the roots will never grow since there already in the water. Fill your res half way and then let the roots find there way down. So that could be the first issue the roots not getting enough dry time for oxygen.

How much nutes are you adding to your res, and what nutes are you using again? and the feeding schedule?

Ok i thought after the roots drop u put it a half inch to a inch bellow the net cup

Thats before the roots drop. After they drop threw the net cup then you drop the water line half way in the res. You always should let the roots find the water until the roots are to huge to do so.

I give them flora micro,grow,and bloom and Diamond nectar i gave the there first feed of 1/4 tsp per gallon last Monday and i feed them tomorrow

And when the roots are to huge to do so do i still keep the rez hafe way and what about the lil roots still coming from out the net cup

Ok so there could be 2 things going on they are drinking up the nutes fast and you may need to add more threw out the week.

Yes you could still fill it half way or drop it a little more than that. Keep atleast 1/4th of the res full once they get super huge. As long as the air stones are on the roots will catch the mist from the bubbles and they will spread out and find there way down to the water also.

What size air pump are you using and how many air stones do you have per res?

During the week my ph level kept goin up so i had to use ph down and i have two double air pumps there for 30-60 gallons i have a 18 gallon rez and a 20 gallon rez the 18rez has 14 gallons of water and a long air bubbler and the 20rez has 16gallons of water with a lil and and a bigger bubbler in it

You need to be able to check your PPM in the water. Some times when your PH goes up that means theres less nutes in the water. You may want to have 4 air stones in each res since there so big. Lower the water level in the res and youll see a bigger difference in the root zone. And add nutes threw out the week or add more than what your adding now. It would be good to be able to check your PPM in such a big res.

My ppm reads 300 for the 14gallons of water 1 and 330 for the 16gallon 1 does it me when your ppm drops its using the nuts but and when your ph goes up its takin up more water then nuts

Ok i am having a problem with my res temp i have tried the frozen bottle and it helps a lil but goes back up into the 80's and a chiller is way to much money is there any other options do they make like a cooler pad i can put my res on top i also heard to put blocks under it so its off the floor any advice tricks let me know thanks

You can wrap your res in myler or you can get those blue cartridge ice packs that you refill and use those. Your res is pretty big you would need like 6 frozen water bottles or those blue ice packs to keep the temps down threw out the day.

Oh ok now i have another ? About pruneing i see were some ppl cut the leaf in have or cut the side leaves off and just leave the mane center 1 there witch is the best way you think here are my pic of my plants now they are in there 3rd week

Looking pretty damn good I see you got everything under control there.

I usually just LST. By tying down branches but since theres no way really for you to do that you can super crop which is bending branches or I would say just cut half o the fan leaves thats just blocking light of other bud sites. There really bushy. How long do you plan on vegging them? I would let them grow vertical alot more before touching any leaves. How close is your light?

I plane on letting them meg for about 6weeks max and my light are just close enough not to burn then i have a 400 watt hps on 1 side and a 400 watt mh on the other

I would say raise them 18-20" above the plants if there not already there. Let the plants stretch more for side branching to come threw and catch up to the tip of the plant. There indica's so you you don't have to worry about a huge stretch in them.

Yea they are like 19" from the top of the plant and on some of them the side branches are growing straight up with the stock
