Newbie First Grow - Outdoors - Bag Seeds

I have been growing nothing but autos for awhile now and the best one I had was blueberry by Dutch Passion. It took 70 days and I pulled 2oz of tightly manicured bud off it. I liked the high for the most part. The beginning made me panic but after 20min I could enjoy 3hrs of adult swim with xtra junk food. But I bet there are much better autos out there it's just trial and error.

Question time again.

As winter is approaching and in light of the harsh summers I am thinking of coming inside.
I have 10 foot high ceiling. I don't ever have company so I don't need to hide. I have 4400 square feet inside to choose from. And my son leaves for college next month...hopefully...so the mother in law suite will be empty. It has an 8 foot ceiling.

Ideas. ..Where to start...tight budget

Budget.

I'll throw ideas out as they come to me...

I had an 'energy audit' done a while back. Guy came out, looked at my new windows (for a rebate) and then energy users like the fridge, tv etc. Easy peazy stuff. At the end he gave me recommendations and two boxes of CFL's to....IDK...help me save money (I have LED's in nearly everything here).

Those free bulbs are now side lighting in the flower tent, lol. Maybe you can get some free bulbs.

I went outside to brave this 100 degree weather just to snap a fee pics.
Enjoy

I really could cry. When I went out today to the garden I sprinkled half a tbs of bone meal on the soil of my Susan and decided I would water it in tonight.

Fast forward to tonight....out to the garden to water the plants.......OMG. the kids dog got off the chain and tore I to the bucket digging for the bone meal...which they ate all out the bucket...they did not break the stem but bent it over.

I was going to lst her but now I don't. I packed some dirt around the stem and put some wire on her so she is not laying in the dirt. The next dog I catch off their chain is going to the pound. I promise that.

Will this stalk heal itself or do I need to do something

I would support the weak side, maybe both sides, and wrap it with tape like you saw in my journal. Wrap it so that it sheds water, not collect it.

I have a turtle that I keep inside. For his shell development he must get sunlight so I use a bulb that simulates sunlight. I use the heatless ones cuz he has separate sunbathing light and area.

Question is why couldn't those be used for inside growing?

Well, yes, technically you can. Watts matter. Actually PAR matters, but we'll discuss that at another time. The light is probably not very large or intense I'm guessing. So that would effect growth. It would at the very least keep a plant alive and growing slow if it's a small light.

Would need to know more about the specifics of the light to say much more. Type of bulb, wattage, spectrum.
