Incidentally I was just looking on CL for a fire hose and Hydrant Wrench, Reason being I have a
Fire Hydrant basically at my Door (front of house) and had the realization if there is a fire storm
I NEED to be able to ACCESS that WATER SUPPLY

Great day to ya Ken! Not sure of the price off the top , but they are very reasonably priced and getting two is a very , very good idea. They give the grow area quite a lot of added 'red' light for bud growth. I really like em , just look at G8's web site or Dorm Grow, they sell em.Cheers man!

I like the fact that they will boost flowering but I wouldn’t need to use them in Veg. Especially with cost being reasonable.

Picture Update later "tonight/early morning" End Week 6 from First Pistils

NOW have TWO Aircare 6 gallon room humidifiers NEW (Factory return/refurbish) 25 EACH + gas
worked out to 28.50 apiece to my front door. Since it looks like I need to run it 24/7 these days I
can now alternate with two 7 day programmable timers

I might look for another unit aswell. I just like being able to have more days away from filling the darn things up. With 2 units full up I bet I could be gone for a full weekend and not have to worry. My single unit runs almost 24/7. I give it a couple hours of rest a day when RH is up.

Your unit in the picture looks slightly different then mine. Likely a year or two older model.

Lol yep if it does fail you will have a 10Gal pot on wheels. And still have a 3 speed fan with RH sensor.

Glad to hear the fires aren’t affecting you. We had the worst fire season in Canada this year. BC mostly but we also saw some major fires in Northern Ontario. Hopefully this doesn’t get worse. That’s 2 years in a row the fire’s have gotten worse.

Thanks buddy, its been a easy grow this run. Next time the GDP will get a recharge a bit earlier and maybe
forgo the Far-Red to gain back that additional week of time ?

The CATs look to work better or worse depending on strain.
I used 7ml Cat + 2ml Tea in 19 cups H20 for a 10g pot with 3 - 4 cups run-off

Sativa GUAWI received BOTH Cats and Loved it, still Green and going strong
Indica GDP Same amounts but nearly all the fans turned yellow, (bud sites look great)

Also on a side note
11/13 + Far-Red + Indica = Shorter flower time but Lower than normal yield [GDP ]
11/13 + Far-Red + Sativa = Shorter flower time (I'm expecting anyway) but still good yield [GUAWI ]

Next Time GDP
Use 12/12
Maybe remove Far-Red ?
Recharge Sooner
Use WayAhead
Do CATs later or not at all ?

I almost gave Guwai a try. I've done Bangi Haze and Panama x Malawi from ACE. Still haven't tried the Bangi Haze, but it grew like a champ.

My bad Humor at the Banana Yellow leafs is all.
As the leafs are used up and I remove them I get more disappointed in the size of the Yield.
The Indica or at least the GDP needed more time so trying to speed things up for the SATIVA
did not work well BUT I did get them both to flower and run side by side .
Now that the GDP is finishing up the GUAWI will have plenty of room.

The Guawi is showing some tip burn on some of the leafs along with some burnet edges.
This next Water is the 1/4 TP directly after the 2nd Cat, not sure if that's the correct sequence or if it even matters
but that's the plan for now.

You know, I feel like I remember reading something about far-red spectrums supposedly have the potential to cause a kind of doubling in photosynthetic-capacity. I think it was called the Emerson effect, but I'm not sure. Supposedly wavelengths in the 750-850nm can induce it, but I don't know that it's actually proven as much as theorized as possible.

Panama x Malawi was pretty good stuff. I think pretty much anything crossed with their Malawi will be good. I bet PH x Malawi will have a heck of a long flowering time. If you wanna play with trying to shorten the flowering time of a long-flowering strain of ACE's, check out old timer's haze. Supposed to take like 23 weeks to flower normally.

Also, just curious... Is that the golden ratio in your sig? I'm trying to read about Euler's totient, but it's a little over my head. I didn't even learn algebra in highschool haha

The Emerson effect is a little different, uses Deep-red and Far-Red together, If I remember correctly.
I was using the Far-Red to just put them to sleep faster, wanted to see if it would shorten
the flower time by giving the plant more hours of usable dark time. That and the 11/13 and cooler
morning temps seems to have worked OR maybe a pheno .

This all kinda happened my happenstance so want to see if its something I can repeat.

For sure the yellowing is natural just need to adjust the CATS to allow longer time before the Change
