i'm not sure if anyone mentioned this ....
the ph perfect line in AN can't be properly adjusted with a ph up/down product. all that does is make things worse. if you use the AN ph perfect line you have to ignore ph completely and trust it will work as advertised.
it will never ph test correct the way a normal nute does.
you can use silica with it but there is a procedure. i think the guys have you sorted on that. calmag should be used with it every feeding in hydro under led.
it won't adjust proper. trying to adjust ph perfect results in dead plants. every single time.
use the regular AN line if you want to properly follow ph.
Any other thoughts what should I do in this situation?
edit: to be perfectly clear, i am an AN refugee and will never use any of their stuff again. it used to be good, but they weakened the line on purpose so growers run into trouble and wind up buying multiple products to fix.
the techs that built the line have all left the company. it's all about raking you over for profit now.
stop using the nute if you wanna make things easier on yourself.
re this :
Okay I have decided to decrease ph to 5.6, and probs it will increase till 6 by tomorrow and then adjust again.
adding ph adjusters to that line only makes things worse. stop adjusting ph altogether and concentrate on your nute levels. that is what controls ph in that line.
you will only kill the plants by adjusting ph in those nutes. ph perfect will never ph adjust, that's how it is built.
you will never test in the proper ranges in that nute. it will never happen.
the only other thing you can do is change the res every couple days and hope for the best.
What do u mean by concentrate on my nute levels? i tried 2ml, 3ml, 4ml for base, and additives. ph never goes below 6.3 after adding nutes to water
ignore what the ph tells you. feed as you would normally and simply ignore the ph numbers. that line never balances ph the way a traditional line does and it can not be controlled with adjusters.
do even a cursory google search and you'll see the exact same thing in every single hydro thread using that line.
tbh ive googled lots of stuff about this and couldn't find proper answer.
In my situation, ppm and ph of my water is quite different from others.
Ill check the plant tomorrow and maybe really let go ph
