New City Grower 4.0 - Featuring the Advanced LED Diamond Series XTE

Bravo Dude... I never get tired of looking at your garden now... No ugly leaves...:yahoo:....:circle-of-love:

I was about to say the same! Not even 1 mistake on that nutrient schedule. Bravo!

I'm inspired by your experience and thus, making my own mistakes will hopefully take me to your level.

Subbed of course :Namaste:

I'm impressed as I can be with this post Reg. Between you and Duggan I feel like I might actually be able to pull off supercropping. I already used up my rep points on you today. I could come back tomorrow, but by then you'll have come up with something else equally brilliant.

You, my friend, are such a valuable asset to this community. Stay healthy. We want you around for a long time. :circle-of-love:

Love the green glove. Forgot I had one. :laughtwo:
Oh cut it out already people! Flattery will get you everywhere.

Looking good as always bud!

With super cropping, is it just that it's quicker and easier than tying and bending or does it give greater hormone distribution than low stress training?

I too have the same question as Mono. Supper Cropping Vs LST.
I'm not really sure about the hormone distribution Mono & Groovy; I do know super-cropping slows down growth momentarily since you're damaging the branches while LST just changes the direction of growth. We use them for different reasons;

Super-Cropping to make a plant bushier & even

LST when a plant's height needs to be restrained

But we've also used these in combination with other training methods for other reasons as well as just for fun.

I was always under the impression that the super cropping method caused the plant to put more effort into the production of the buds at that branch. I've never tried it so can't comment in all truth but a couple of my friends swear by it. I'd be interested to know the definitive answer to this myself. All the best :thumb:

I don't have the knowledge nor have I done the research to answer that Kriaze. Maybe someone like Cronic (who I mirrored super-cropping from) can but in a way you can say each branch you S-C will produce more buddage since the lower bud sites that would have been under the canopy become part of the canopy.

Also there may be a change in plans with the DOUBLE BAGSEED pot. If one or both plants in that pot turns out to be a dude I might scrap it. Yesterday I was blessed with enough bagseeds to hold us down for awhile so we don't need them anymore.

You should check out Duggan's journal Kriaze. He's got a couple monster sativas he's supercropping. That's kind of his thing and he's absolutely amazing at it. He'd surely welcome the opportunity to answer any questions on it.

Oh, you got lots to play with there, BAR. I love popping beans and knowing no other person in the world has that exact pheno :high-five:

That appeals to me too GG. We're just the adventurous type, I guess. :high-five:

Seconded, looks like a fun amount to choose to play with there B A R :) All the best :thumb:
Thanxx Kriaze. In my best Forest Gump voice; "Bagseeds are like a box of chocolates, you never know what you get (until you grow them).

Little tip for the supercroppers out there. If you are having trouble with the branches straightening back up, try pinch, twist then bend. I used to just pinch then bend and they would always fix themselves. Now I get nice right angles when I do it! :)
Garden is looking great BAR!
Thanxx Blaze & great advice there. You can also pinch them both ways on the spot you crop, not just the top & bottom but on each side also. You have to super-crop it like you mean it!

Backatcha Cronic...

QUICK UPDATE
June 10, 2015

JACK HERER CLONE Day 38

She's filling in nicely. It's been 3 days and she's still cropped & will grow in this structure unless we decide to change it. As you can see all those lower branches have become part of the canopy.

I like to know the answer to that question too Broke Ass... I just left the site reading about them and they look awesome but I don't quite understand the dial in thing.... give it up my friend...:reading420magazine:....:circle-of-love:
I bought 2 DS 350 and just harvested. They work great. I noticed no difference in weight and the heat was a non issue. Love them. Will have to upgrade to the Ds 650 to fill out my 9x5 tent. The lights have two dials one with white light and the second one for all the other spectrums.
