New City Grower 3.5 - Our Perpetual Grow - Continued

My husband drinks Canada Dry Diet Ginger ale in 2 lt bottles. Every time I smash an empty I think "I could grow a plant in this". :laughtwo:

After reading up more on Lamb's Quarters I found this:

Advocates of the plant claim it is a great source for beta-carotene, calcium, potassium, Protein, Niacin, Folate, iron, B-complex vitamins, Vitamin A, vitamin C, Magnesium, Phosphorus, Thiamin, Riboflavin, and fiber and low in Saturated Fat and Cholesterol. Basically, it’s not just a super food, it’s the pimp daddy of all super foods.

No wonder it's good for soil. We may grow some to harvest as a super food. There's no doubt it's Lamb's Quarters.

Here's ours.

QUICK UPDATE

Happy Shatterday Brotha if I didn't already in your other Journal I get a little confused in which one I said what especially when someone has more than one journal going
Yeah I know Cronic, I do too but there's only one plant left to chop on the sponsored thread. After that it'll all be here, back to how you & I do; one continuous thread. (Unless someone else decides to sponsor me) :wood:

Excellent! I did not know that. Yours is doing well in there. Growing smarter every day around here. :laughtwo:
Well Sue, none of us would have known about it if you wouldn't have noticed the type of wild plant it was. All of us here at 420 are growing smarter together.

I'm going to forget I peeked in here :yikes:

I know right. Everyone hide your sheepskin coats, Welshy's here!:laughtwo:

Haha.....i see the sheep talk has made its way over here now:)......Haappy SkunkDaze Baby Girl & Reg:):circle-of-love:

Thanxx for stopping by you guys & Hozona, that's some good ideas for potting, transplanting, & size. Unfortunately for us our real estate is limited so the 2lt Soda Pop Pots are our final pots. Using them along with this Micro Perpetual Grow will keep me more than stocked with enough smoke while having a large variety of strains at the same time.

Our Perpetual Grow is finally on target. We've chopped 3 plants in the last 3 weeks. My goal was to chop one plant once a week with a yield of 1/2 to 1 1/2 ounces each. Let's start with the newest addition to the Bloom Tent.

SUPER CLONE Day 36 / Day 2 under 12/12

She's taking Spider Girl II's place; the plant we chopped over the weekend & should be female since the mother was.

TRIPLE BAG SEED Day 2

Since one of the two plants we tried the 2X in one pot didn't survive we're going to try that experiment again with 3 plants. If one doesn't survive or turns out to be be male we can keep the experiment going.

AFGHAN KUSH
(Auto) Day 49

Today

We can use some help.

She's suffering from something; she's taking 3 to 4 days to dry out where as most plants in these 2lt pots only take 1 to 3 days. I've never had any problems under 18/6 but this is our first Auto. The only thing I've done different than usual is top-dress the soil (which is PJ's Organic Soil Mix) with Azomite but a few other plants I've done this to had no ill effects, in fact they liked it.
We haven't added any type of supplements to any plant's waterings this early since we started using PJ's O.S.M. which is why I want to get a few opinions before for making any drastic moves. There was a lot more discoloration of lower leafs that have already fell off or I pulled off without resistance.

The clone we took from her didn't survive even though she took to the rockwool cube & rooted. The only clones that took that haven't survived since changing our cloning methods were from plants already in bloom & that was because of bud rot from humidity. We'll try this experiment again at a later date.

AFGHAN KUSH II (Auto ) Day 30 / Day 15 under 12/12

This is the counter part to the plant above. So far in my opinion 12/12 is the safer bet for Autos although it could have something to do with the Spider 9 LED panel over this one and/or the rough training on the other plant. It's still early; this one's just starting to show pistils. This puts them at approximately the same length of time to pre-flower. The Afghan Kush Auto above under 18/6 revealed her sex on day 31 & this Afghan Kush revealed her sex today which is day 30.

hi bar ive had that yellowing on a few off my autos and never got to the bottom off it lol....it didnt seem to affect them to be honest....i think that as its a auto it might be taking the nitrogen early and then the leaves die off...i may be well out but just what i think....i like to add extra nitrogen in flower now with my autos....

OK I got confused somewhere... Did you say that you are growing an auto under 12/12.. I thought autos had to have a minimum of 16 hours light... Now mind you I have no idea where I read that but it stuck so it must have been someone I trust on here but anyhow are you growing an auto 12/12......:circle-of-love:

autos can be grown under many light schedules 12/12 18/6 24/0 etc etc i use a 17/7 light with my autos ...dunno why just how it worked out i guess lol

I'm a total noob = first grow, but it sure looks like classic 'N' deficiency.
