New City Grower 3.5 - Our Perpetual Grow - Continued

Forget about it Cajun, you're the Conductor of the Awesome Train.

Yesterday was even a better day than I thought it was! I didn't even look at the mail until this morning. A new breeder has given me the opportunity to test run a few strains.

Now that's what I call a good day!

I'd call that a good day too, my friend. The defol had me chuckling. I saw that extreme defol Doc does and it gave me pause too. So you decided to be the one to demonstrate to us how effective it really can be? Good for you Reg. it made me gasp though, when the pictures flashed up. :laughtwo:

One has to wonder why it's so difficult for breeding houses to offer us seeds that have the vigor our accidental homegrown seeds regularly demonstrate, eh? This one wanted to be part of the party so much it threw itself into the ring!

I find it interesting that we should both have reached the conclusion that keeping up with all the individual demands of the variety is driving us to distraction. Hahaha! Your bigger pots are slammin' it though. It's never dull around here and it's always greener than green. Makes for great visits. I don't get here often enough. :hugs: :green_heart: See you later.

Don't even sweat it Sue. I've had those fast paced threads and find that I prefer mines to move at this pace instead. It's a little more intimate with the subscribers but you do a great job at leaving no-one feeling left out on that extremely fast paced thread of yours.

Thank you for that lovely compliment B A R. Your mother really did raise you well. :laughtwo: I work hard at making everyone feel like they weren't left behind. These recent posts at full run are a bit of a workout for us all, aren't they? Hahaha! At the end of the day I feel like I ought to have a cigarette or something, and I don't smoke tobacco!!

Nothing better than gifted seeds and LED lighting....you must be such a good boy, REG....

My goodness...the Pope in the Big Apple...it's so exciting and I'm not even Catholic...I just adore that wonderful man.....it's all good *sigh*

As do I Shawnee but he's causing a gridlock nightmare! Worse than when the President's in town. The whole mid-town's on lock down. I pity the fools who drive or take car services to and from work.

MAJOR UPDATE
Sept. 25, 2015

Last night we took the first step in converting all three tents in to one Perpetual Grow.

THE BIG TENT

We flipped it from 18/6 to 12/12 and removed the JACK HERER, ULTRA LEMON HAZE, & the 45 degree angle BAGSEED plants.

THE VEG TENT

It's at maximum capacity now.

UPPER DECK

IMG_00018478.jpg

I pulled 3 bagseed seedlings that will be replaced with known strains that are in paper towels at the moment. Since this is going to take a tight squeezed balancing act there's no room for unknowns and we still have cuttings in the cloner. The other 3 seedlings are known strains.

LOWER DECK

The Lamb's Quarters will be chopped as soon as I need the space.

THE BLOOM TENT

As I said, give us two weeks to get it back to health. It's been one and things are looking better since we've been giving it the attention it needs. Within another week they all should be healthy except the one I gave up on.

Very nice organizing going on, i must say :D never knew ud 3 tents haha thought it was only 2 :blunt:
Just a warning when chopping the Lambs Q. becuse i think this is what happend to me. Spider mites come about. I think its bacteria from the juices in the topped 'stump' (wherever u cut it) that builds up.
I could be completely wrong. But there a bastard to try get rid of lol

Thanxx Woody.

Thanxx for the heads up Indo but I'm pretty sure we need not worry ourselves with mites. The original Lamb's Quarters came from a plant on the fire escape from nearly a year ago. Since then I've grown it with plants as a soil purifier, eaten it as leafy greens, and now grow it alone to purify soil before re-using it and to harvest as eatable greens. It's seasonal so once I through it under 12/12 for about a week it produces seeds and the cycle repeats itself. It's strictly an indoor thing with me.

"A Copy & Paste"

Lamb's Quarters is an annual wild edible that from a distance, tends to always looks dusty; this is because there is a white powdery coating on the leaves. Lambs Quarters is a purifying plant and helps to restore healthy nutrients to the soil if need be. However, if there is a large patch of lamb's quarters, be sure that the soil is relatively good and not contaminated. This unique plant tends to spread quickly in areas in which soil is contaminated in order to restore nutrients. This wild edible has an earthy, mineral rich taste; some say is close to chard. It's difficult to describe, but if you enjoy leafy greens such as kale, collards, and spinach then chances are you will like lambs quarter.

Here's the one that just sprouted last week.

I got scared when I seen the word,,, mites. Is a lot of problems that come from cuts but most the time it's ok. Better be around my house. With broken branches. But you can dab some elmyers glue on it for a sealant to keep out the mold's etc.
But you sure have expanded in your grows since starting up on here. Keepem Green
