New City Grower 3.5 - Our Perpetual Grow - Continued

Brother & Skunny: You know how it is, sometimes we need to get away from the keyboards and technology just to experience life outside the cyber world.

Jaga: Skunny's bag of tricks is quite simple.

Opening the new growth is something LA recommended & it seems to help the nodes staying tight. Removing the top fan leaves temporarily stunts the upward growth which aids tight nodes. Pinching or twisting until it cracks divertss hormones to lower growth which stimulates them to grow.

BG: I've said it before; no need to catch up here unless there something specific you'd like to read up on. There's always something starting, something growing, and something about ready to chop in these parts.

Dirty: Grass cutting is an acquired art. I did such a bad job at it one summer on my uncles front lawn he had to do the whole thing over. Needles to say he was tight! He said it took longer to fix than it would have taken him to do it right the first time.
This morning was the first day since the veg cycle our Pineapple Chunk was praying to the light. I think she's ready to perform. Hopefully yours will pick up too.

You and I got our Snow Storm Ultra about the same time and I would like to know if you are using it yet! My plants aren't ready yet but I am excited to try it out and wondered if you have. Oh, I LOVE the little scrog!!

I didn't even read the bottle yet. I was waiting to flip into flower! Now, however, I will be mixing and spraying shortly!! Thank you Dennise!!! :circle-of-love:

Yeah Magic, as Fifi said; no need to wait. We spray everything except the babies still in rockwool cubes each Sunday. What's crazy is we've actually spotted pistils on a few plants (Jack Herer [fem] & a couple Bagseed plants) before even flipping. Has anyone else using Snow Storm Ultra seen this phenomenon? They weren't really starting to flower. More like your first pistil sighting when you determine sex; a few stray hairs.

Not a problem Indo.

dropping by to say hi and wish everyone a great weekend

:Namaste:

Happy weedend, all!

happy easter to the gang :Namaste:

I miss you guys....:circle-of-love:

What's up Reg..
Sitting in the window watching that Magic Tree waiting for something to sprout?lol:rofl:
JK buddy..We actually got a few snow flake's today.lol
Snow? That's crazy Jimbo. The weather's been so nice here that I'm checking the Magic Tree everyday now. For those of you newer subscribers to the New City Grower journal series the Magic Tree is a tree right in front of our building that sprouts numerous seedlings every spring through summer that we rescue. It's also the tree that started everything with us; I rescued the first marijuana plant I had ever seen in real life under it 2yrs ago & found 420 mag the same day.

Congratulations on your harvest!
Thanxx Judge John & thank you everyone for wishing us a Happy Easter. I hope each & everyone of you enjoyed yours.

QUICK UPDATE
APRIL 7, 2015

Let's start with a completed experiment:

THE BLOOM CLONE EXP.
Day 31

Here's a look at the experiment we've been conducting cloning cuttings from a plant in bloom; One stayed under 12/12 while the other was put back under 18/6.
After one month the 12/12 cutting has started growing again as a bud which was one of the reasons I conducted this exp.; To find out if a flowering cutting would survive under 12/12 & if so would it continue to bloom as one bud or branch out.
Another reason was to see if I could finally get a flowering cut to survive the traditional way, under 18/6, which I couldn't. My next investment is a cloner.

BAG SEED with Lamb's Quarters
(in SIP; Sub Irrigation Planter) Day 69 / Day 48 under 12/12

She's like a female bodybuilder. Her two top colas are rock hard & she smells as strong as all get out.

POWER FLOWER (Feminized) Day 42 / Day 15 under 12/12

This is the plant we've implemented Skunny's bag of tricks on to get an even canopy & tighter node spacing without super-cropping or topping. It appears to be working; notice the somewhat level canopy. Also in her last pic notice the tight node spacing above the pinch where the blue arrow is pointing.
Thanxx Dr. Monster.

BAG SEED Day 75 / Day 41 under 12/12

This is the first plant since going strictly with 2lt soda pop pots we've let grow naturally without any training. All she's received is some defoliation for better light penetration.
