New City Grower 3.5 - Our Perpetual Grow - Continued

I have read that it is a real good thing but I have never tried it so I would wait for someone to pop through that knows what they are talking about and that ain't me...:thedoubletake:... I will say that even though the recipe is a bit danting... it is well worth the effort on the front end... I have yet to have to add anything but water and I am 18 days in flower.... If it got any easier they would tend to themselves and roll it up and light it for me..:circle-of-love:

I wouldn't know Nevic. If PJ was still around you would just let him know what organics you had on hand & if you needed something else he'd let you know where to purchase it but he also let me know there's know exact science, you just need enough of all the elements to complete a grow.

Exactly!!!

thank you dennise and bar, wow, 18 days and no outside nutes, super. I hear you on the worth the effort part,, i am working towards a vastly improved soil mixture,, slowly, baby steps, and i also need some soil soon, before it could cook, but i am learning lots here,, super thread,,, i will have plenty more q's, if y'all don't mind,, thanks for most useful information, cheers.

I will wait to see if I see rock dust info, Thx

Nevic, I've had a few "PLANTS" that went to the finish line already on nearly nothing but PJ's Organic Soil Mix & Cal/Mag to offset the LEDs.

Yes nivek, rock dust is good, and volcanic rock dust is like gold. Excellent. May I ask where you got said volcanic rock from which dust was made? I was really tempted to smash up part of one of our lava bombs we collected in the Rockies. It intrigued me to think that part of my soil had once soared through prehistoric skies.

Sorry, got distracted. Blame it on my Buddha. Rock dust. Good thing. Volcanic dust. A better thing. It's that element of mineralization that grows such beautiful plants. PeeJay's soil mix was what led me to LOS. It's one of the better soil mixes one can build and his three-stage approach is a thing of beauty. I went with LOS because I couldn't bring myself to use guano. It's a good recipe though. Just look at these plants - and they look stunning Reg.

Hope she's not too much fun & when can just watch her grow. :laughtwo:

AFGHAN KUSH (Auto) Day 7

This is the plant we will continue our Auto experiment with. She'll stay under 18/6 but won't be trained.

LIBERTY HAZE (Feminized, Flux) Day 16

This is the plant fluxing. You can follow it on "Light Addict's Flux Central Thread"

TRIPLE BAG SEED Day 22

This is the experiment to see how multiple plants will grow in the same small pot. They're slow growing but neither one of the 3 is dominant.

BAG SEED (Problem Child) Day 36

I don't know what's going on here and don't care; it's bag seed.

LEMON KUSH (In unsealed SIP) Day 46

She's almost ready for the micro-scrog.

CLONE OF A CLONE (Two headed) Day 41

This is one of the clones we tried our hand at growing in Perlite alone. She's stagnant.

AFGHAN KUSH (Auto) Day 69

Since we've left her alone she seems to be recovering which has me leaning towards the side that she was just stressed out over all the training.

BAG SEED CLONES I & II
(The 12/12 Experiment) Day 15 under 12/12

They've both caught but neither one has shown roots yet. If nothing happens soon I'm tossing them both.

BAG SEED (in SIP/Sub Irrigation Planter) Day 68 / Day 43 under 12/12

She's coming along nicely. We've opened her up to get light penetration down on those lower bud sites.

AFGHAN KUSH
(Auto) Day 50 / Day 35 under 12/12

She's part of the Auto experiment also. As far as I can see 12/12 may be the best option for autos.
