New City Grower 3.5 - Our Perpetual Grow - Continued

That sour has a great structure, health and vigor.

I'm looking tough, and there's some white marks that remind me of when I had Thrips - can you have a look? Super easy to get rid of them if so. Spinosad, one spray, maybe two tops.
You had me nervous Carestaker because last time with the mold you were spot on. Just got through checking with the jeweler's loupe and it's just some residue that scraps off with ease. I think its dried up dish soap from the hydrogen peroxide & dish detergent I spray for preventive maintenance.

Great to hear! Sorry for the alarm, I'm always on pest patrol, so it just jumps out at me, and I can't grab the plant and check.....cause they're at your house. ;) Thrips eat the green away and leave little white trails and curlicues, and it looks very similar to those marks, if you ever see it again elsewhere. :high-five:

Don't apologize man, keep doing what you do! I need you looking over my shoulder.

Harvests every update almost :slide: thats something i need in my room, the thing is ur working with different growth stages and thats not easy to keep it all good :high-five: Reps for the Sour.D grow idea, i was woundering what happened if u topped a couple of times looks like shell turn out great.
Some info im gona post on my J that might come in great use because it has multipurposes. Random info i found elsewhere that has been scientificly proven on non MJ yielding plants, but people have tryed it with MJ to:)

Do tell Indo.

Thanks I have moved them into bigger pot,s :Hookah:
 Lost me there Jaga.

Thrips "Copy & Paste"
Thrips are really tiny, but can be seen by the naked eye. Some may have wings and some may not. Thrips reproduce rapidly, especially in tight places. That is what makes them hard to get rid of when using pesticides. The suck the sap right out of your plant with there piercing mouths, which makes the leaves look like they turned white. You can tell when you have thrips by taking a look at your leaves, the leaves will look as if there chlorophyll have been ripped right off the plant. Plants that are damaged can’t be healed thus making it harder for the plant to absorb light. SO if left untreated the thrips will kill the plants. Damage also can be seen by the greenish black specks of there poop they leave on leaves. Also the plants will show silver patches from scar tissue. Depending on the severity at first, thrip damage might look like spider mite damage until it increases in damage and then thrips case is for sure when you see the greenness replace with big parts of white.
Once again Carestaker, I think you're right. I haven't spotted one yet but...

Red Highlight
: I do see black spots on the leaves.

Blue Highlight: The silver patches of scared tissue is probably what I was scrapping off.

Like I said, we see the white streaks for awhile but then they disappear. What I believe happens is the once a week preventive maintenance of hydrogen peroxide/dish detergent mix slowly eradicates them so it's time to get more aggressive.
I made a gal mix of SNS 203 and drenched every pot in the Veg Tent. At lights out I'll spray each plant thoroughly. I'm about to go back through my journals to the last plants from outside on the Fire Escape to see if I can pinpoint when we got them.

Needless to say there won't be a Fire Escape Grow in the upcoming spring; I know that makes Fifi happy. :circle-of-love:

Reps to my Guardian Angel, Carestaker...

Glad to help my friend. :high-five: If it's them, they aren't hard to beat. You can see them if your eyes are good. I haven't tried the SNS out on thrips. It works great for gnat control, and other pests, so it might knock the trips out - they don't look too bad. If you are looking for something of a guarantee - Spinosad will wipe them out in a one or two sprays tops. This the label I use, you can get it at Homies cheap. Monteray Garden Spray.

Works fast! After ingesting Spinosad, insect pests die within 1 to 2 days. Will NOT persist in the environment and is classified as an organic substance by the USDA National Organic Program (NOP). OMRI Listed for use in organic production.

I found no adverse reaction to spraying at all. :cheertwo:

I haven't seen not one thrip My Guardian Angel but if I continue to see the white streaks after a week of SNS I'll be knocking down Home Repo's door.

Hey Reg!
Freakin' unsubbed from here somehow. Damn un-smart phone.
Had to go hunting for ya. Lol.
You didn't miss much of anything Cajun but hermies, small yields, plants stuck on stupid, and oh yeah... my first bout with pm & thrips. It's been a crazy 3 weeks.
But all's well that ends well.

AFGHAN KUSH Age Unknown

This is the plant that had the big PM problem and was stuck on stupid. Since ridding the tent of mold she's starting to perform in the 9th inning. Also I think the hermie hit her before it was chopped. If a few joints is all she's offering I'll take it. Teaching us how to recognize and defeat mold makes her a star in my book.
