New City Grower 2.0

Thanxx all for your congrats & reps...

Yes Jimmy. The Sleestack X Skunk has mykos in the soil. You're probably right; The Power Flower isn't growing slow, it's just that the Sleestack X Skunk is growing fast.

You and I both Jaga. I'm not breeding so I have no use for knuckle-head plants.

Was just watching the news and wanted to make sure you were OK and didn't get blown up.......:circle-of-love:

We're fine. That was a bit further downtown from us but God bless all those people who lost their homes, the families of the ones injured, and especially the families of the ones that didn't make it. It could've been worse. Imagine if it would of happened in the evening or night when most people are home.
Thanxx for your concern.

And Lady Dee, I think it's about time for you to have that talk with my employer. The company's cutting into my 420 time. LOL... Seriously though, we usually get a little busy this time of year.

Today I transplanted the POWER FLOWER (Feminized) It's Day 15.

Her new home consist of;

40% Happy Frog
40% Scientific Soils
20% Vermiculite
Plus Mykos

The first thing I did was a little trick I've stolen from PJ. By placing the soil around the container you're transplanting from you get the perfect fit for your plant & it's roots.

In order to get the whole mass out without it crumbling the soil in the original container (in this case the cup) must be moist.

Now let's hope she can catch back up to her roommate SLEESTACK X SKUNK

SLEESTACK X SKUNK

Those are some beautiful roots. My tiny babies are out in the greenhouse as of yesterday. I think my Delicious Cotton Candy is not going to make it. It is standing up, but weak in the stem at a weird flat spot. I have no idea how it got that flat spot, but it's there.

When you say you topped, you mean clean off at the node, or FIM?

Yes Jimmy. There's a lot of Perlite in the SCIENTIFIC SOILS.

I would call that a "Top" Brooklyn. Though the leafs were small & young, it was leafs & not just the heart in-between them removed. If it were just the heart then I'd call it a Fim.

That's been there for awhile Lady Dee. LOL... But it's doing it's job I've had a couple members PM me saying they have their fire extinguishers now.

I'm yet to add any fire safety but will be adding a flame defender after I have paid my next set if bills and fees
Topping or fimming for the very first time tomorrow....is it lame that I'm so excited?

Not lame at all! I still get excited every step of the way. I'm sure you can tell by my journal. And the thing about 420 is once you learn how to do one thing you turn right around and learn how to improve on it. Before you know it you're starting to take bits & pieces of different techniques and finding methods that work best for you. I don't know what I love more; 420 magazine or my plants.

BAR put out two 420 fires I started this year, no fire extinguisher needed, thanks again my friend.:circle-of-love:

Now that sounds like a good story!

Thanks for showing all you do with topping and such. Love the before/after pic last page. I am about to try my first real training and everyone's detailed info on their methods has been great. :bravo:

I thought I had a fire going about an hour ago. I smelled smoke and could not find anything wrong. Turns out a ladybug had landed on HPS bulb and got fried. Almost smelled like hair burning, lol.
