New City Grower 2.0

Hey B A R, Thanks for the invite! Great journal!!
No problem Cannabomb & welcome aboard. From when I first had a glimpse of your grow I now can see a lot of improvement. Resolving issues only make us better growers & with the help and support of the 420 community it's as easy as pumpkin pie. The circle of love continues...:circle-of-love:

Pepe is looking good BAR. I would just leave her alone and let her do what she needs to do to get to where shes going.
I was thinking the same thing all day at work LB. I'll explain my reasoning in a little bit during the weekly Photo Shoot.

Leaving alone is good. The reason I've adopted the flush mantra is that soil growers almost never under-do anything from what I've seen. Over the last 6-8 months I've been doing a ton of reading about plant metabolism at the same time I've been wandering around these journals. I've come to the conclusion that almost all the time when a grower starts to run into problems it isn't because there isn't enough of something, it's because there is too much of a bunch of things and that results in uptake issues.

The times that I've seen truly starved plants on here are few and far between. There was one now illustrious member that was too worried that she would burn or harm her plants if she fed them on her first grow that I remember well, but not many others.

Over and over I've seen container plants respond really well to a solid flushing, and I've never seen a case where a solid flush hurt a container plant. "When in doubt flush" makes sense to me.

Looking good as per usual BAR, your NL auto looks real nice

THE FIRE ESCAPE (OUTDOOR GROW)

Pepé Le Pew (Skunk) Day 51

As for those of you who tuned in yesterday you already know about the issue I was concerned with (the yellowing of some of the lower leafs). PJ and Lester both offered good advice and after pondering over everything about her all day at work I think she may just have been over-watered instead of over-feed. It's been raining on & off for about 2 weeks now and where she's positioned on the ledge the fire escape is really not blocking any rainfall. I'll probably put her in the Veg Tent tomorrow morning as it's suppose to rain again tomorrow & Thursday.

KERALA X SKUNK #1
(Regular) Day 46

Now she's a beast of a girl! A few of her fan leafs are the size of my hand. She's almost taller than the window opens.

IMG_2014062412_4_.jpg

And I think I see signs of pre-flowers. Weed Gods, Please don't let her grow into a Drag-Queen... Not that I have anything against them but I brought this plant named Shirley home once only to find out her real name was Steve. All of you long time subbers remember that one.

KUMIKO (Clone Attempt) 6th Week

Still no roots. Still healthy.

WILD THAILAND (Clone Attempt) 3rd Week

Week 3 and it's the same old story. When she first started dying this weekend I figured let's see if a Rapid Rooter cube can save her. That just sped up the inevitable. I also dropped a Sour Diesel bean in a RR cube this weekend.

QUEEN THAI (Wild Thailand, Re-Veg) Day 19

She's taken to the re-veg like an old pro.

FLUXY MOMMA (Power Flower, Flux style) Day 119

This is the update I did on her yesterday on the Flux Central Thread

IMG_2014062323_1_.jpg

She's almost there. These are the last arms trying to reach the rim of the pot.

IMG_2014062323_3_.jpg

And the over and under the rim technique is looking good. The base of the plant is going to be wider than the pot. That's more bud sites.

IMG_2014062323_2_.jpg

The BUBBLE GUMMER beans have been there over 3 weeks but I've heard stories of forgotten beans popping up Soooo...

IMG_2014062421_1_.jpg

I found these little goodies at the 99 cent store. Lady Dee would like these. No more trips to the bathroom to feed and drain.

SLEESTACK X SKUNK (Regular) Day 113 / Day 103 under 12/12

She's looking better by the day. She's been on a PHed tap water diet the last 2 waterings. The next time it'll be an
SNS 604B feeding.

She's nearly 200 days old and is finally stacking those buds on. Patience is a "you know what". Tommorow I'm throwing her a Day Two Hundred Birthday Party.

Always better to be under than over.

Looking good as per usual BAR, your NL auto looks real nice
That was in Canna's update. LOL...
He has the same wooden floors, right? It kind of even confused me for second.

Good night BAR, enjoyed catching up and all the frostiness in buds & pics - a lot going indeed.
Your grow is the perfect example of the quote in my sig. :)
200 days, wheee! am bringing some cake to that party :D
Love how your RM & the Flux is turning, am trying my hand at something like a flux.
Cheers, a great week

Thank you all and Fox, your sig is completely correct. I enjoy the fruits of my labor; worth it's weight (no matter how small each harvest is) in gold & I've learned so much in such a short time. The best part is all the contribution of info is so diverse yet sound it's hard not to improve no matter what direction you take. Growing is similar to child raising; there's no right or wrong way, it's what works best for you. Everyone keeps this thread and my grow alive and thriving. I'm just the over paid driver.

Hey there B A R,
Looks like you have a lot going on over there. Looks nice!

I have a question for you re: wild Thailand
So I have wild Thai reg seeds and I'm on the fence as to whether to run it or not. I have heard some ppl say good things about it and others bad. For example someone said it really wanted to hermie. It sounded good when I ordered it, a quicker finishing landrace sativa.

What's your take on Wild Thailand? I see the reveg so I'm assuming you have harvested some? Sorry, your journal is huge! I don't think I can read it all to find my answer.

Thanks for your time

You may suck at cloning but you reveg with the best of 'em, Reg! :thumb:

And anyone who can run a 200-day Haze has earned some serious chops, too. She looks good!

Hello COorganics. Glad you could join us. The Wild Thai beans I have are feminized and the one in re-veg is the first one I popped. As far as quality goes, bump what you heard! Here's the smoke report. Forget about it...

Wow B A R very impressive stuff you got going on, how can you manage a full time job and look after all these plants!!! Multi-task much =)
and thanks for the positive words my friend =)

BAR, that very first pic of todays update, there is a tree in the background and it looks SO strange...I cant make sense of it lol.. Am I just to high or can anyone else see that its odd?

P.s nice floors =)

You do know we have trees in the city, right? :laughtwo:
Your floors aren't too shabby either. I'm all discombobulated with this time change. This morning I thought the timer went on the Bloom Tent. My dumb butt switched it to the by-pass mode so they had maybe an extra 1/2 hour of light today. I hope I didn't confuse them too bad.
