New City Grower 2.0

Has anyone been mean? ? Just manhandled and stripped manually early bud outdoors? ? Maybe it would kick back hormones aiding for quicker switch back??

Is this directed toward me or Reggie? If me, I am not worried about the switch. I'll get bud, that's all I care about. I'm waiting on ya...then we go to the closet! hahaha. When I grew in the closet I couldn't wait to grow outdoors. Now I can't wait to grow indoors again.

Well since we're already on the subject of outdoor plants here's Pepé Le Pew (Skunk) Day 50. She's as stern as a rock but she's growing slowly and as you can see she's having an issue with the lower leafs. I haven't done anything different with her than I have with her neighbor out there with her. Also the bugs haven't attack her like they do KERALA X SKUNK. Any idea what's going on here?

I have a new mantra when it comes to issues like that, Reg. "There is too much traffic in the soil. Flush the crap out of it and resume feeding as usual after it dries out." There is plenty of nutrition in the soil, pH is not an issue. It's just a traffic jam. Get some of those cars off the road.

Thanxx PJ. I'll do that as soon as I finish visiting all my subscribed journals.

So sometime next week then? Catching up with all your subscriptions could take a while. You get around this place, Reg!

I only have like 22 more to go...

she looks hungry. I would take those completely dead leaves off as they attract mold and insects.

She's not hungry. She actually has only been manually feed twice; both times with 604A within the last week. Prior to that it's been raining every 2 or 3 days here. I've vowed not to remove anymore dead leafs but rather let them fall off on there own. In my experience I've found the plant grows better that way though many members disagree.

maybe her soil is waterlogged then and she can't get nutrients because that normal pale yellowing out from bottom up is standard nitrogen hunger.

keep in mind there are nutrients in rainwater.

The soil for one of the new seedlings is complete. It's composed of:

VIGORO ORGANIC SOIL MIIX

MOMMY'S SPECIAL TOMATO SOIL
GROWOLOGY: STEP 1
VERMICULITE
DEAD CRUSHED CANNABIS & WILLOW LEAVES
CRUSHED EGG SHELLS

Stop trying to diagnose this like its a nuclear physics problem. This is normal. The 2 leaves will be ready to either fall off or be plucked off soon. The lower, oldest leaves become much less useful than the newest growth at the top. The plant signals apoptosis in the lower leaves and kills them off by choice.

Just my two cents :ganjamon: Monitor and see how it goes, my bet is that everything is fine. :thumb:

Thanxx Lester. So I'll hold off on the flush for a few days PJ. But if she gets any worse that'll be my next move.

Lester's advice to leave it be is not bad. Diagnosing nutrient issues is not an exact science. However...

There is a lot of traffic in that soil. Flush the crap out of it and resume feeding after it dries out. It won't hurt anything to do that and if there is a nutrient transport issue a heavy flush will sort it out, no matter what is locked out. You certainly are not missing anything in that soil mix.

I used the hydrogenproxide and water for the gnats, the guy at the chemist questioned what I needed it for and made me sign for it...?

I read alot about how good it was for getting oxygen to the soil after a flush aswell, im still struggling to get my ph back up to 6.5 but the (necrosis?) has stopped showing up on new growth, and those little gnats shat themselves when I gave the plant the HP. Thanks alot for the advice BAR helped me out alot =)...

So here is what I have going on, this is my second grow, I am using soil, basic nutes from a store like home depot.. I have had a Fungal gnat problem and a Phosphorus def, but heres hoping all is sorted now.. Ill put up picks so you can see what I have going on...
They are both Northern light autos from Sensi seeds =)
