New City Grower 2.0

What can I tell you. My daughter loves em & had just finished the box when I needed to raise the seedlings. LOL...

By any means necessary.

:high-five: Trichster.

Good night BAR,
I still have to catchup a bit on this journal but I noticed you choose Skunks & Royal Medic from RQS for your current grow. Skunks from Sensi Seeds & White Label is what I´ve grown in my previous 2 rounds - really pungent smelly ladies but vigorous and well balanced high/stone smoke. I had a few males though ( I bought regular).

I currently have one Royal Medic that I flipped 11 days ago (and germinated the other 2 beans about a week ago) but hasn´t shown sex yet. It was so picky during veg.! Showed nut burn with only 1/4 strengh and now has the new growth looking like it needs N. It´s a clearly Sativa dominant so be prepared for a big girl that will take longer to flower than the seed bank says. Plus, it made huge roots overgrowing the veg pot.
I will now try to catchup what I´ve missed so far.

:green_heart:

:thankyou:

Good morning weed BAR. Your update was great. All you girls are looking very healthy and the buds are getting big. Very nice job. Happy Freeweed Day

Hi BAR! :ciao:
You know the Grow I had going last year this time had the most raggedy bunch of plants I've ever seen. But in the end I got some of the strongest smoke I've had to date. I think you're going to be in for a real treat with what you got going in the bloom tent.
The old saying "that which doesn't kill us makes us stronger "certainly applies to cannabis- LOL!

Have a great weekend!
And happy growing!
:peace:

They're not all looking healthy but the ones that aren't are definitely looking better Bill.

That's good to know Flo. I smoked a sample joint off one of the plants with deficiency issues (QUEEN THAI, Wild Thailand) and have already been pleasantly surprised.

Nice update, BAR. Looks like the ones having problems are getting taken care of, looking good. I'm still fight the dead leave issue, its slowed down a little, but I so close to harvest, I will just keep an eye on them. Keep up the good work.

Neat update BAR, lots going on in there. Some very nice looking flowers. Sounded like the sample got you where you needed to go! :) Can't believe your still playing around with that raggety plant - but she sure has changed a lot! and I thought I had patience!!! Hopefully Fluxy Momma takes off soon, she'll be a nice and rounded plant at the end... can't wait to see how things go. :Namaste:

Have a Good Friday Brother :passitleft:

Thanxx you guys.

Yeah, she's still my mercy grow. The worst that can happen is she goes hermie on me pollinating the rest of the tent. That's why I thoroughly inspect her every two days. Other than that there's no reason to get rid of her. But if nothing happens before I need that space you best believe she's as good as cannabutter or even worse; trash.
FLUXY MOMMA only needs a few more arms to reach the pot edge & then it's up, up, & away; vertical growth commences.

LA's a great tutor. After all those be-headings I didn't think a flux was going to be possible on her Green, but he walked me right through it.

Yeah it does seem like you'll end up with a little somethin somethin off that Mutant plant, just as long as she puts on some trichomes. If anything just stick her in the MB2 machine like you said and call it a day  Just a couple thoughts here, doesn't it seem like Sleestack X Skunk might have an onset of a magnesium deficiency? I might have to get caught up on that. Also I'm liking the Cotton Candy reveg flowers. But the one I like the most are those Queen Thai flowers! They look very promising and dank :thumb:

Sleestack X Skunk, She's actually in recovery.

BEFORE

And this was after removing most of the deficient leafs

YESTERDAY

The larger off colored fan leafs are the ones that were smaller off colored ones in the previous pic. I haven't noticed any dis-coloration in the new growth.

Your plants look good, BAR.
Your deficiencies in flowering are probably caused by lack of magnesium or calcium, or both as yellowing starts in the middle. If it started at the bottom, that would be mobile nutrient: N, P or K, otherwise not so much. I'd put more effort into mineralizing your soil in the future, and then you'll stop having these problems. Also, pure Thais might be a little bit finicky if they haven't been stabilized for generations as these varieties are extremely hard to grow indoor. But then, they say the high is worthy :Hookah: Never grew one really, I need to give it a try in the future :)

Thanxx C. I've been attacking the magnesium & calcium issue. What do you mean by mineralizing the soil?
