Alright guys,
Sorry about the picture delay,
Yesterday I was all bussss,
But here are the babies,
They are being watered only when the soil gets super dry
Also its with regular distilled water
No Nutes yet
They are a week old
Also getting 10 hours of sunlight then put indoors under cfl's for 14 hours
They are totally fine. I would suggest to not pay TOO much time or attention to them. Far too often new growers over-baby their babies and end up hurting them. Give them their adequate attention ( make sure everything is fine and dandy) and them leave them be. Go do something else. You will come back to bigger growth. There's an old saying: A watched pot never boils... A watched plant never grows!
I dunno the prices brother, your milk is like 4 times the price I pay!!!lol
I an buy a 4' florescent light that holds two bulbs for like $12 plus a few bucks per bulb at the hardwear store. The black light ballast should work if the tubes fit. I like the cool white bulbs for veg, never tried to flower with them though :/
the babies look healthy
gotta go Charlie Browns Thanksgiving is on!!!!!
Lookin good man.
Good advice from Dr.215 too!
I do have to say though.
If it was me in Hawaii,I wouldn't even consider indoor at all.
Hell,I'd be Johnny Appleseed all over the island!
It's friggin Hawaii man!!!!!
But sorry i post so many things,
I just want to make sure i know what im doing lol.
Anyways!
I have a problem!!!!
Heres the deal,
Yesterday,
I had... say a 4" pot
When i looked at the bottom of one plant i saw some roots growing out,
so i decided to transplant
Now its in a much larger pot
Also,
everytime i put the plants indoors for the night i put them under cfl"s
I currently have coke cans over the cfls to reflect light back.
Now only one plant transplanted and the other didnt
The one that did tho looks to have like a white spot on one of the water leaves that looks like a magni glass just sat there and burnt it.
Also on the leaves,
It looks to have burn marks too?
Heres the catch,
Both plants are under the same exact lighting
but the one that was transplanted seems to be having probems now
its probably transplant shock, and fairly common. There are things you can add to help them get through it easier, like b1. I think I would just lift the light a little, a few inch's, and wait for them to resume vigorous growth (which you should do when you transplant in the future). You may be getting a bright spot from your "reflector" put your hand under it at plant height and see if there is an unusually bright spot about where the damage is. No nutes in the water right?? let em eat the nutes in the soil.
I think you're definetly gonna have to get rid of those coke cans my friend, and from what I can see you dont have enough light. It might be sufficient for now cuz they're small but you'll need more light eventually....For flowering you probably dont wanna use flourescent...save your money and invest in an HPS.
LOL yea ditch the cans and add more light! You want to smoke at the end of the grow right? ADD MORE LIGHT!!!! Nothing, including the best reflector will top more ACTUAL LIGHT on your grow!!!
BAd news,
I woke up today and I dont think the plants holding on ,
Both plants are really small and on one of the plants,
the main leaves are starting to turn black hahaha
and it looks like on leaf was bent upwards and also has black/SOMETHING taking over the leaf,
It looks like a god damn disease!!!
ANy help? I really dont want to loose them now!!
One more thing...
I am currently using 2 daylight 6500k cfls,
Is it ok if i where to throw in some lights that looks the same but they say 13w 2700k ones??
Im sorry i dont know this stuff,
its kinda stressing me out haha
add some more light, and dont water them for a while like a week. It may seem like a long time but i think your spots are from dampening off. I believe your medium is too wet around the base of the plant and is causing problems. I had similar black spots on one of my plants and thats what the cause was.
Thanks alot stizzle,
Good thing i check this cause i was just about to water it hahaha
Its been day 3 of no watering.
Also,
I did notice i labled this as an outdoor grow,
so the indoor lights are a no go anymore,
Altho i have completed our ULTIMATE grow box,
This journal will be a straight up outdoor from now on ( except for rainy days hahaha )
Thanks for all of youre support!!!!!!
But a week sounds really long man,
But ill do it! for the sake of my loves! ha
Imma post pics of the plants today,
So please feel free to stop by and help a brother out
