Hey guys,
Im going to start to post pictures about every 1 week now.
So starting from this post,
Ill have pictures up by wed.

Also,
Heres an update:
I have 2 plants indoors
I have now 2 plants outdoors as well.

My next door neighbor ( Best Friend )
Has now established a grow room in his giant ass closet.
Im going to also be growing a strain called white widow there. ( My other friend gave me those seeds )

He has 6 cfl lights and im going to donate 1 flouresent light to him ( for my plants too )

In the long run,
I just might put my two white widow plants over there followed along with 2 of my big bud plants.
( No worries hes growing 4 big bud plants too )
His mom dosent come home till about 11 pm every night and just goes to sleep as soon as she gets home!!!

Well i did some research and the white widow plant looks stank and scary!
it looks like a bush with 100% getting high material hahaha!!:ganjamon:

Any ways ,
ill have pics up of the 2 outdoor plants
2 indoor

and my two white widow by wed :bong::bong:

And my friends closet ( so you can give any advice ) :grinjoint:

One more thing lol,
Whats veg?
how long should i do it?
whats flowering?
how do i do that? ahaha

thanks guys for youre support in ganja farming :yummy:

Veg is the Vegetative stage of growth that the Cannabis plant goes through caused by an 18/6 light schedule. Flowering the the second stage of growth that makes the actual buds form. This is induced by a 12/12 light schedule.

"His mom dosent come home till about 11 pm every night and just goes to sleep as soon as she gets home!!!"

I hope you're over 18 or you are not supposed to be on here...

Thanks for the info,
And no,
I am not a minor,
I am a legal adult ( 18 )
As my friend is 19 ( joining the marines in about 8 months )

Its just unfortuante that im still attending school "/

So sorry if you guys got the wrong idea "///

veg is any tim the lights are on for more than 12 hours. Normally they are kept on either 18 or 24 hours. Depending on your height restrictions is how long you should veg. Plants will double if not triple in size wen you go to flowering. Flowering is when the lights are set to 12 hours on and 12 hours off. This simulates the end of the growing season and causes the plants to sexually mature. You can tell males from females around 3 weeks of 12/12. hope that helps

It helps a lot!
Thanks so much ")
So if I understood right..
when I veg the plant, im accually growing the plant to height that I want?
Then go through the flowering process and that's when it matures( grows the bud? ) lol

Also,
Is it bad if I veg the plant its whole life on a 24/7 cycle?
12 hours sunlight and 12 with lights?

yes you can grow the height of the plant as tall as you want in veg. you can run 24hour lights, be them any combo of sun and lights. But the plant will not show you sex until you go to 12/12

Its not bad to veg the plant its whole life on a 24/7 cycle, people do this with mothers to take clones from it for long long times. And the flowering cycle will make the plant grow at least double if not triple the size (depending on the strain). So keep that in mind. The longer the veg, the bigger the end result. IMO there is no point in vegging too little, i would rather have fewer, larger plants than many small plants.

Wow guys,
Thanks a lot!

Once again,
Ill have pictures up on wed of my lovleys.

Also,
I think im going to veg till about 12"

Sorry to be lurking on you stizzle but,
I read up on you're adventure from growing fast then moving to LA.
( Beutiful plant by the way )

I couldn't help but notice that you had a 10/14 hour cycle going on.

I understand by 12/12 it matures.

Question :
Is 10/14 a flower cycle as well?

Becuase the sun in hawaii rises full at 7 am and sets about 5 pm. ( 10 hours )
So if 10/14 is a flower cylce it would be perfect!!

Also,
I understand that during the flower cycle,
When the lovelys are put into dark,
It must be complety dark right?
Can you guys give me some ideas on what I should do during flowering?

Thanks so much!

Its cool man. 10/14 works as a flower cycle, but its not optimal. It will shorten your harvest time by about a week, but it will also drop your overall yield by about 10%. Durring the dark period of your flowering cycle it must be completely dark. If not you risk the chance of a Hermi showing up, and you dont want that.

Ooooooo,
Thanks man,

Also,
Does anyone have recommendations on how how I should flower ?

Well,
When it comes time,
You guys said it needs to be totally dark for 12 hours,

What are some ways people put it in total darkness?? Lol
>.<

Also,
What kinds of nutrients should I buy and how and when do I use them >.<

Advice would be splended !

Thanks guys.

Greets thumbo!!

You need to place your plants in a light tight room, cabinet or tent. You can build your own on the cheap. A tent made of black/white poly is probably the most simple and least expensive, unless you already have some other materials.

In my case, I'm lucky enough to have a large light tight room at my disposal, where I built an easily expandable hanging mylar box for flowering. For vegging, I decided to build a light tight tent in the corner of the same room. For my setup, it's easier to vent and cool a veg room since I use less powerful lights in there. Since I put the room in the corner, I only had to hang two walls to get a light tight enclosure.

Here's a pic.

The cost of this tent was under $100, including the fan and ducting.

As far as the nutes, many people use Fox Farms. Being a relative newbie indoor grower myself, I've found those to be fairly easy to use. The versions for soil are not fully organic so that is an issue for some people. I plan on trying out an all organic grow once I complete my research into organics and come up with a game plan. Age Old appears to make some good organic nutes.

The following will help..

Great set up harry!
Thanks for info,

Imma go with fox farms nutes then I guess.

Now,
Is it bad that I didn't start to give my lovelys any nutes yet?
I didn't know they needed them now >.<

But I will have pictures of them up tommarow,
Also imma drive up to walmart and buy me some nutes!

Thanks guys

Hey all,
Thanks for all the great info.

Alright,
I decided that the lovelys could start to grow straight outside
I put them out for 10 hours of sunlight and the rest is indoor lighting ( 24/7 ) light cycle.

I will have some pictures of the babys later today.
