Nematode's First Journal - LEDs & High Brix

Ok here is e choco......maybe some help here, she got her first CD on Thursday, 7ml CD and .7ml. tea, now it seems her leaves are now curling and some have an ever so slight tip burn, is this from to strong of drenches? She seems to be bulking up since the CD and growing great, just doesn't have that picture appeal.....:)

Anyhow, I guess I'm a little disappointed at the looks of these girls, but I keep telling myself they are only the 3rd and 4th plant I have grown and the smoke that's gonna come off the JH I'm sure will blow our minds........they colas are rock hard, no joke.......

Ok enough little pity party for Nate.......lol, here she is

Note: did go see the new Jurassic world at imax last night, pretty good movie, I thought, have a great Sunday all......:passitleft:

I don't know Nate but I think they look pretty damn good. The Chocolope is sure sensitive to feedings. I am going on the light side with drenches from here on out. As far as the leaf tip burn, both my other plants have it just so slightly. It showed up after the CAT drench, I think this where the super drench comes in, but I was hesitant to use it on my first kit grow. Maybe next round.

Mornin Nate....ya...with the CD's.. I give mine back to back ,full strength. Remember we're changing types of N with the CD so we have to give it enough to accomplish this...so no plain water between drenches.Give one ...then when thirsty , give it again.
I love the look of that fat lil thing ya got there....prolly rock hard nugs eh? Excellent.Have a great day Nate.:high-five:

Looking VERY good to me Nate. You are many weeks ahead of me, so I can't offer anything about the leaves. I'd say, keep doing what you're doing. :thumb:
I don't remember why you up-potted while in bloom, but that's the only thing I would change. Get all the transplants out of the way before the flip.

Yeah, hat JH has been alive since jan. 22 she was in a 3gallon until the first of April....I know I know to long, so when I up canned for bloom she only got put into a 7..... Trust me that was a bitch......lol, anyway with in 3weeks she was bound......so here we are, definitely learned a vaulable lesson there, thanks for the comment major, like I said I'm sure that bud will be some of the best I have smoked.....it's gonna blow those first autos I had away.....:high-five:

Couple things. If the amber is only on sugar leaves ignore it esp if it's only on the sickly sugar leaves. I have cut more plants early than I care to admit by being fooled by those fuckers.

If your other plant curled on first CD do .5ml per gal on the next one. .5ml per gal of soil is my starting point for CD, it's strong stuff.

Your plants look great esp considering their pot sizes you are in for some killer smoke soon my friend :passitleft:

I'm just guessing here have never grown JH but based on those pistols I would say she can use another week possibly closer to two. The real magic comes at the end, don't skip the magic :)

If you just have burnt tips at the very end of the leaves its probably just slightly to hot of drenches. The super drench is for when they start looking like this. It has only happened to me right after CD and usually starts in the middle of the second one if its going to happen. You will know if you need it, it will look like a major deficiency that will develop very quickly out of no where for seemingly no reason :thumb:

Yeah thanks smokey, that's the kind of things I am hoping to learn doin this journal.....yep most of the amber trichs are on sickly leaves......the trichs on the buds are starting to turn cloudy.....oh yeah when I watered the JH today.....I did see some roots poking out the bottom of that big ass pot....so something is going on down there.....it's just at the top when she starts to dry it will actually pull away from the new soil....oh well live and learn......

Yeah I hope she is done soon, I'd like to have a bud or two to take down to the Rolling Stones concert on July 4th......it will b close....defiently not all curd up.....:)

How much did it yield?

Oh about 90 grams if I remember right? It was my first drying job too, she got washed and hung in a box with small fans for air movement for a week at 66 degrees and 60% RH! she seemed pretty dry! might try putting this JH in jars earlier.......the blueberry did have pretty good taste as well.....

Evenin Nate ...with that drying thing there. Get rid of the fans in the drying room ...or at least have very lil air movement. It causes the outsides to dry prematurely ....too fast you could say. We want them to take as long as possible without the fear of mold. You said you hang them in a box? Could ya not just run a string across your clothes closet or some other spot in the dark and right around room temperature ,65-75 degrees. If you've got them hanging in a big cardboard box , that's cool cuz cardboard absorbes moisture like crazy, i'de lose the fans though. Cheers Nate...:high-five:

Hey duggs check this out and tell me what you think........it is a 60 gallon tote with 2x 1.5cfm computer fans, I cut enough holes on the opposite side to just move air through.......when you take the lid on and off the fans don't even whine, like they is more or less drag on them.....oh yeah and the fans have homemade carbon filters over them, so that is causing them to not even pull the 1.5 they are spec., too.....here it is......like I said let me know any improvements......I was thinks just not leaving them I the box a whole week this time?:thumb:
