Neikodog's High Brix Sativas

Yeah I used to. I stopped cloning the long flowering ones. I was exceeding my plant count with my current keepers so I haven't cloned any of the 14+ week strains. I didn't expect that malaw x Panama to be done in 10 weeks.

Those long one's really tend to be the Sativa's we are after now.

Nice man! Ok I'll let the cat out of the bag. I just got approved to be a test grower for ACE. They are sending me my 1st batch of seeds. Some new Malawi Hybrids and some new Dutch Haze hybrids. That's why I'm clearing out my back log of keepers. I've sent most of them out into the world so if I ever miss them I'm sure someone will help me out.
Congratulations Neiko. :thumb:

WOW Neiko! That's some really cool news...and Ace too! I'm sure you'll find some great stuff in there somewhere. That's good news for all of us, but having a genuine genetics tester using Doc's kit (and an experienced Ace grower) running some of their stuff for the first time is exciting...period.

Like Graytail, I'm about a week away from putting a trio of Panama(+) into the flower tray. I popped 4, but that one is a dude I swear. I haven't flipped it, topped it or ditched it yet just because it looks so nice, but I also have a Clementine, black cherry punch, and strawberry fields getting big enough to be cloned so I'll probably murder the dude to make room.

Lastly, my 501'st OG cobs are 3 weeks into cure today. Next weekend at the 4-week mark, my son and his girl are coming over to sample a cob with me. We'll smoke and chew and see what happens. The other one will go another month and we'll sample it at the two-month mark.

Oh, and as I was typing this response, I told my mom your news...needless to say she would like to get together for a chat...lol

Hi Gov, Hopefully you don't get a 23 weeker like my Ziggy Panama x Columbian. I think you'll be really surprised at how smooth your cobs will be. Don't expect a Tangwena trip when you chew it. I think you need a trippy strain to begin with but it will change the character of the high when chewed. The 2 strains I have cobbed I think I enjoy smoking them better. The wife loves eating them, Carnival especially.

I know I need to go see your mom. We planned it then realized it was Easter. I'll get with her soon.

The Jamaican can cause anxiety in the wife too. I don't understand it since it's so high in cbd but it's not the only high cbd strain that affected her like that. There's less than 1% thc in the cannatonic and that one works reliably.

Now I gotta tell ya though the cobs cause her no anxiety. She loves the carnival cobs. She chews that almost daily now. The dried flower on the other hand she has to be careful with.

We discovered that although the Jamaican hits all the right points for my daughter she can’t use it as an edible. To treat the liver condition she developed I’m looking at making an acid cannabinoid FHO and turn most of it into capsules. She tried juicing and that hasn’t been a good fit yet.

I was surprised at how anxious the Jamaican brownies made her.

Wow that is strange, the wife seems to tolerate edibles the best. I haven't made edibles with the Jamaican though. I like to use high thc strains for butter. I may throw a little cbd rich strains in to mix with it but I typically only use the Jamaican for pills.

OK the Malawi x Panama is down and hanging for about 36 hours then into cobs. Here's the last pics of M x P and the next batch of flowerers.

Malawi x Panama Day 70

Durban Poison Day 21 and CAT1 today.

Gorilla Glue 4 Day 40

Black Cherry Punch Day 30 and CAT 2 today

Tangie x Ghost Train Haze Day 30

If I get everything done I want to today I'll get 4 root balls recycled and 3 new plants flipped. Next up is Ultra Dog, Grand Daddy Purple and Cannatonic or Jamaican. Have a great week gang!

WOW That is impressive :goodjob::thumb::welldone::adore:

BTW That does bring up a question ? when you recycle your root balls how do you do it ?
cut up into little pieces or just rip apart. and do you use the trunk section (wide/thick above ground part)?
Just curious since I have like 4 just laying in my soon to be second run batch that I need to get cooked.

I recycle 2 10 gallon footballs together. I don't put the main stalk in the tote. I just rip up the footballs and mix them together real well. I add 6oz. of amendment, about 7-8lbs. EWC, 1.5 gallons water and mix it all real well in the tote. I too that off with a hand full of fresh leaves and roots! powder. I let it cook another month.
