No she's still alive. I think I'll take it this weekend. I won't test this one because I didn't clone it. I don't want to be kicking myself if the test results are good. I'll just plant another seed. Lilly is a very stable strain I believe so it should be easy to find again. Another name for it pina colada so the fruity coconut smell must be common. It's from Original Delicatessen on ACE's website.

Ok gang I need some help identifying what did this to my Lilly. I suspect a mouse but it is about 12-14" above the soil line. I recently lost some seedlings that were severed at the soil line with one no where to be found and one just laying dead on the soil. The last pic is just a lilly bud shot.

Neiko, i can only say what i believe it is ok....lol, an animal ate that...it will be back,..set some traps , or have ya already!
Bite marks , you got a kitty?

I do have an assassin for a cat. She knows a day or 2 ahead of any mouse coming in. That is the only flowering plant that has this damage. Whatever it is it isn't leaving any droppings or tracks on the soil. I really don't know where it could be getting in. The room is sealed for the most part and the tents are zipped up tight at night. It's really starting to piss me off. I guess I'm a little worried that when I take down the lilly it will move on to a new plant. I didn't know mice were wood eaters.

I watched a documentary about outdoor growers out in Cali and one of them had issues with their plants stalks being chewed through. They said that it could be any number of rodents but that it is typically mice that do it! I never would have thought that would be the case. It showed the guy picking up what was a decent bush that had dried up and died. He swept around the plants and said it was only good as a broom now! (That last part is off topic but I found it amusing) So I guess it is possible and other people have experienced it. I hope you are able to take out whatever is snacking on your plants bud!

Hi Neiko! I have a can 33 carbon filter and need to replace the pre filter. Duggan suggested using, "white filter mat'l that comes in a roll. It's used in big air handling units" do you have anything more specific of what I'm looking for and where I Mghb get it? Duggan said you might know. Thanks!

Ya Neiko, you know that white fluffy/hairy mat'l comes in different widths and comes on a roll. They use it in some AHU's at work.It works perfect for our carbon filters, been using it ever since the original pre-filter got dirty. i just wrap some around , overlap it an inch or so , wrap it with some string and bingo.

Thats some substantial chewing!!...I've seen chipmunks climb our lily plants after flower and chew off the small branch holding the seed pods...so yeah, maybe a rodent of some nature!??...set up a trail cam in the tent!......cheerz...h00k...:Hookah:

Yeah mouse or maybe a squirrel or a fox. Cats eat leaves, but they leave stems alone. Any fur scraps left behind?

The only logical thing it could be is a mouse but I would think the cat would have gotten by now. This little bastard has hit me on a couple occasions.

What about the Cat it self ?

The room is for the most part sealed. The only way the cat could get in is if I let her in. This happens over night when no one is in there.

That's what the wife said too. I don't really want to buy a trail cam for a mouse.

No evidence of any kind. It has only attacked the Lilly and brand new seedlings at this point. I did see what looked like digging in my newly rooted clones but no damage. I don't even see dirt outside the pots, it's very neat whatever it is.

You say nothing else can get in there? Then you should offer the little dear a capfull of D-Con, all for it's own self. :cheesygrinsmiley: It's a lot more appealing to them than cannabis bark. :slide:

[Edit] The only risk is if the critter is a hoarder, and will take some to another location where other mammals can get at it. :hmmm: Mebbe a trap is safer.

Or maybe lock your Cat in there overnight for a game of Cat and Mouse

I'm leaning towards a trap. I may just let the lilly go a little longer and put a trap right by the stalk and wait and see if we can catch this little bugger.

If I did that that little shit would eat all my veg plants. She loves cannabis leaves. I'll give em to her as a treat. The veg plants aren't in a tent.

Kinda sounds like it must be coming in through a hole somewhere in the room, probably
why your attack cat has not found it yet, not there until everyone is gone
