Neikodog's High Brix Sativas

I've purchased souvenirs ;) 2+ ago using Bitcoin. Its even easier now...plus, many seed banks give you discounts and extra freebies when you use BTC(Bitcoin).

I would be a decent buyer of seeds now if I had access to an indoor grow area...:)

I have used it many times at various breeders and seedbanks, just make sure to add enough extra $$ for the buy/transfer fees when using bitcoin. I tend to favor companies that accept it, especially when dealing with out of country vendors.

You should hit up sannies site. He has his sannies jack which is his worked line of jack herer. He has a couple of other really nice strains too. His killing fields is supposed to be amazing with a high likelihood of being purple. He also carries Dynasty gear as well and I think he has a couple of strains they do not offer any more. Sannies strains are like 40 or 50 a pack
great day to ya Yeti , Neiko and friends.I checked out Sannies site....tried to buy a pack of those JH he has been working with but like as mentioned he only offers sales to bitcoin or send cash by envelope .I'm not able to do the bitcoin thing because of ignorance..on my part (no nothing of it) and don't wanna wait for snail mail....both ways for seeds.Oh well!
I liked both equally. I guess it depends on the mood. Not all Panama's are energetic. My Panama was more "dreamy" like floating on a happy cloud. The Haze is very social and creative for me. I loved Ziggy's Panama in Jamaica but like Duggs said it could have been the setting. I would recommend doing the straight Panama 1st since it is a shorter flowering time and if you get a green one it is supposed to be more energetic. Mine went 12 weeks and yielded very well. The Haze may grow out of your area and could go up to about 20 weeks depending on the phenotype.

The Purple Sherb doesn't yield worth a damn without a really long veg time and it is a pretty tall plant. You have to strip it up to about the top 4-5 nodes or you'll have a ton of larf. So I had a 4' tall plant that doesn't look like it will give me more than 2 zips. It really needs some heavy training to yield well, obviously more than what I did to it.

Very nice bud, was that high brix?

It seems like a lot of plants that produce killer produce do not produce well :laughtwo: I have grown a few strains that need to veg forever to yield and it can be a pain in the ass at times. I am not a patient person :laughtwo:

Yes it was grown in the kit. Thank you for the compliment!

I do not like sannies payment options either. I have yet to open a bitcoin wallet because they seem like they can be vulnerable. i do not know enough about computers to make the wallet any more secure than it already comes or I seriously consider it. I would only use it to buy seeds at this point and I already buy enough from American breeders :laughtwo: I really would like to try and run the Killing Fields again but I have a few strains that have the potential to purple in the stable already.

I was skeptical as well Yeti, but I tried it. I love it. I kind of found a little 'hussle' with it as well. They act much like a stock market with the value going up and down quite a bit over short periods. So I continued to watch it for a while and i saw it drop down in value quite a bit and I bought 350 bucks worth of a bitcoin. I didn't buy anything with it right away and watched the value shoot up to about 450 bucks. So I used the bitcoin at Seedsman and bought about 100 bucks worth of seeds and got an a ton of freebies. Well about a month later, the value shot up another 150 bucks so I bought another 100 bucks worth with lots more freebies. I still had about 400 bucks worth of bitcoin despite spending 200 bucks worth. Fast forward another month or so and my bitcoin jumped up again....so you got it, another purchase with lots of freebies for using the bitcoins (not to mention a good 10% discount). Another month, another increase in value and another purchase.

Now I caution anyone that chooses to do this.....the value goes up and down greatly. Shortly after my last purchase, the bitcoin crashed quite a bit, my 350 bucks worth dropped down to about 200. In the last couple weeks its crept back up near 300 bucks worth. I am in no rush to spend it so I will just keep waiting for it to jump up. Next time I see it crash down again I will buy another 100 bucks worth. And you can sell your unused bitcoins back as well.

It sounds like you have gotten your money worth out of it already which is great. I will look into it more. I need to find a decent wallet and maybe read more to get a better understanding of it. I am better at learning when I can watch things in action so i may have to talk to a computer nerd I know to see if he can show me the ropes.

it is really easy, you can open an account somewhere like coinbase. Connect your bank debit card, credit card, or bank account. Purchases by a card are available immediately (prepaid cards are no good). Then you simply send the total of your order (and allow enough extra to pay the bitcoin fees), copy and paste the send information and email the vendor the info. I have purchased this way from Sannie, JOTI, and a couple others and never had a problem. Search youtube for "coinbase" there are tutorials on how it is done.

Thanks for the info Neiko. Sounds like good advice, I appreciate it. As far as trying to keep the Panama Haze manageable height wise, what sort of training would you recommend? I haven't grown any hazes so I am not familiar with their general structure, strength, etc. Is it a strain that's viable for scrog, or just tie that bitch down? Will I need support for potential weight (toppling over buds)? Any recommendations would be greatly appreciated. I am not planning to grow it anytime in the immediate future, but I add all this information onto my spread sheet. Anything else I should know about either strain would be greatly appreciated. Makes my future grows much easier to plan and pull off. Thanks brother.

I've only grown it out the one time so I'm not an expert with all the phenotypes. When I do it again I will definitely top it more than once. I accidently broke a top on it when it just started flowering and that branch stayed the shortest but grew 2 massive colas. I took note of that and have started topping my sativas right when I flip them. It has controlled the stretch and has increased yield on known strains. I'm starting to test that on other strains now and it looks like a good practice. You will have to support the big colas for sure. I've never run a SCROG but I bet she'd be good for that.

Thanks for the info. I didn't understand what I was doing the last time I tried it. I ended up downloading some mining program that I didn't understand. I just wanted to buy some so I could buy seeds and I could never figure it out so I uninstalled that program and gave up. I'll check out the Tube for sure.

Neiko...you were saying that your Black Berry Punch is very healthy and happy in our soil....what run # of dirt are they in?

They are in 2nd or 3rd run, I don't remember. They will flower in 3rd or 1st depending on how many more 3rd run plants I can run. I don't keep it past the 3rd run. I do a fair amount of long flowerer's and some of that soil had to hold up for 14-16 weeks per run. I'm sure they will do great in any run.

Great Info and great timing, ThAnkS!
I have been looking at getting started with bitcoin as well. I keep getting an uneasy feeling about it every time I start, like the security of the wallet. Or a connection with my bank card, I want to use bitcoin to avoid my bank.
I dunno, I will go through with it, jist a bit over my head right now. The coinbase site looks perty smooth. Maybe I will dive in. Really all I want is to be able to occasionally use seedsman with it.

I use coinbase when using bitcoin. I did the same thing VS did about a year ago when it was extremely low. Forgot about it for about 6 months and I was happy to see that I had more seed buying money lol.

Its the way to go if you have a little money you don't need for a while. Don't get me wrong, I am not confident enough to go dropping 10k into bitcoins, but a couple hundred sure...why not. Not to mention the discounts and freebies you get. Hell I grew out one of the blueberry freebies and discovered I love blueberry. Probably wouldn't have bought it otherwise. Wish I could opt out of the bitcoin freebies that are autos and swap them for photos.....just no desire for the autos.
