The regular Panama is just as good. I don't remember a stark difference between the 2. It's been a while since I had the regular Panama. I had the red one which is a little heavier towards the end but it is really a happy buzz. I think the PH is a little more up. The green Panama is supposed to be more energizing and then you had Ziggy's pink sweet tart one. The PH pretty close to that I would say.

i agree..the pan haze has the ACE purple haze flavor in addition. The Panama, the terp smell is unlike any other terp combination I've smelled. I believe I have the smell in a plant in garden- hopefully it finishes properly. It was 44 here last night after a day of on and off hard cold rain..

The person who gave it to me said it was their favorite purple strain they had grown out so far. That was out of 8 or 9 purple strains they have grown, said it was dense and frosty, and the cut they gave to me was from a pheno that stacked up real nice and henceforth became the keeper.
 
Smoked a few more joints of the Panama Haze last night at a party with a handful of novice and a couple regular smokers. Raves all around.....and 3 of the people smoke exclusively my product....and then a beautiful thing happened.

People just went off like chatterboxes, laughter, etc. Totally got the party started, compliments all the rest of the night.

This Panama Haze is top, top quality weed. Exactly what I'm looking for. :goodjob:

I just quit looking on line at seedbanks or I'd have a constant flow of new seeds coming in. I have quite a few new seeds I want to run. I've had malawi x pck for over 2 years and can't believe I've never popped one. Those are going in next seed batch I pop.

Looking forward to seeing you pop that Malawi x PCK. I have a pack of them I want to grow out sometime soon but haven't gotten around to it.

I haven't started growing it yet. Neiko grew the Ace....I think Dr. Z did too. Both were fantastic. I will be growing this.

I have a lot of variety in my grow and new strains (mixed in with the keepers) coming all the time. Anything with Panama is always a favorite. There is something very happy and social about Panama. Unfortunately I am not really ready to hang on to a 16 week strain in clone form. They just have to get into flower too fast or I can't control them so i try to always have a Panama/mix coming in seed form.

Come to think about it I don't think I've grown out anything from ACE that wasn't top quality. They may not all have the off the charts THC that some of the new hybrids have but the terpene profiles are very unique and varied. Taking a few more hits to get "there" is enjoyable anyway.

I can't wait to see what you do with one......oh man, now that would be special.

I haven't gone all the way through you beginning portion of the journal Nieko, do you do any topping or training in the limited time in veg for your sativas? I will be growing a few sativas out in a couple grows from now, so just looking for a bit of info or recommendations with a 6.5 foot tall tent.

I usually top once and pull down the 2 tops to even out the canopy. I let them get root bound in a 1 gallon and flip. Panama haze will get about 7' tall from 12" tall topped once. If it's not a familiar strain I will transplant from a 1 gallon to a 10 and flip the same day. Most these pure sativas give me anywhere from 5.5 oz to 8 oz doing it that way.

Very similar to my method too, only i veg longer of course! I need to acquire some fem Panama's now....just Panama,..without the Haze!

I'll check my seed vault but I think all my panama's are regs except the PH. I'll test my new ACE strains and if they are good and I share them with ACE they let me pick 3 strains for free. That's how I got the Panama Haze. So far they use my Tikal, Zamaldelica and Bubba Hash on their website. I have an Oriental express in Veg now, hopefully that tests good enough to make their site and I'll get ya some. I have a hard time with payment at their site with my debit card being overseas, it's a PITA to get it to work. So far this arrangement works great, I just email them what I want and they ship it direct. I just need to find another keeper for them.
