Neikodog's 1st High Brix Multi-Strain

Ok I re-took the brix readings at about the same time as yesterday and I used Graytail's method. I will be picking up a mortar and pestol tomorrow. I had to use 2 butter knives to squish between, it was still a challenge but I got some juice drops. The Tangerine was blurred between 13 and 14. The Tikal was a touch above 12. That seems more in line with how they "look". Scrubby you were right on.

Bingo! :bravo:

12+ is what I would expect for those plants, but I didn't get a good close look at the leaf shine and turgidity. :cheesygrinsmiley:

They're hooked up and ready to rock! :thumb:

Update time. The tangerine dream is so sexy I can't stand it lol. The tikal is growing very tall, she's about 4' now maybe more. They had their 2nd CAT drench on Monday. The Tangerine responded by packing on resin and bud. The tikal is definitely lagging behind. It has smaller buds and no resin that I can see at all. Input on that please. So to the pics.

The chocolope are starting to look better, I have been giving the half strength destress daily this week. The leaf curling is still going on. They have been in flower for 6 days and they get their 1st real flower drench Monday. I am thinking doing this: If the plants seem weak and need a boost---almost never happens unless you made a mistake or there has been some environmental issue or circumstances beyond your control---try this:

1 oz. Transplant per gallon of water with 6 mils of Tea. Feed a solution with this composition to all the plants. It will re-colonize the roots and get things back on track. Do not do this if you aren't having any problems.

Advice on that please. OK the pics.

Hey there brotha...what goin on... those long leggy Sativa's eh ..they're lookin good...not sure of the last pics of the Choco...Those are older pics aren't they Neiko...leaves still all curled like that....mmm. How's the new growth look bud...?

Hey Duggs, thanks for stopping by. Those pics of the chocolope were from about an hour ago. They are on day 6. They look 10 times better than they did. Leaves are really dark and starting to get a little shine, but I can't get rid of that leaf curl. They curled after I fried them in the sun about a month ago. The new growth is lime green but it seems like as soon as new growth is established the leaf tips curl. I haven't given them anything but 50% destress and the initial 2ml transplant water when I up potted them. They are supposed to get brix tomorrow so I could use some input on a course of action.

Hey neiko the leaves on my choco are shaping up nicely......I will try and get a pic tom during the brix spray......I don't know about hitting them hard with a drench......smokey mentioned his leafs were curling and started feeding lighter.....I just gave mine 7ml growth and .7ml tea on we'd and she is shooting up......just my 2 cents......I'd wait for some more input....":thumb:

TD looks amazing.......

That's just it I haven't fed them in flower yet. They have only had the 1/4 strength transplant water when I up potted a week ago. I will pass on the drench this week and just give them water and see what happens. Thanks guys.
They don't have any burnt tips either. As dark as the leaves are I'm thinking nitrogen surplus but I'll wait for the pros.

It sure looks like too much 'N' on that Choco - "the claw". Dunno how you do that with "The Kit", however, unless you drench crazy concentrated, maybe.
DeStress everyday? Even with a dilute mix, that sounds like a lot. But what the heck do I know. Listen to the veteran HB'rs

How long did you daily spray with the destress. My guess is that's what curled your leaves but it's just a guess. I wouldn't spray more than twice a week with it. :thumb:

No that's not it. I gave the destress to stop the leaf curl among other things. The other things have responded well. The leaf curl has been there for a month. Destress has only been given the last 4-5 days at 50% strength.

Well is the new growth curling......cause some of the really bad leaves aren't coming along the way back but much improved........

Well Nate, I am not too concerned about the old growth, just the new. It appears to me that the new growth starts out fine then when it is established it starts to curl. It isn't the de stress, I did the half strength destress to try to combat the curl. It hasn't gotten worse it has gotten better if anything but it is still happening. I'm not worried, they'll straighten out I just wanted to know if there was something else I should be doing is all.
