N420 Grows Barney's Farm Orange Sherbert & Special Guests

Beautiful harvest N. Enjoy your fruits
:passitleft:
Thank You Prof. We actually have been enjoying the fruits the Phantom Og is in jars now and Mrs. N and I have almost smoked an ounce! Mrs. N has been off work so it's wake and bake!
Wonderful harvest!

:yummy:
Cheers Canuck! The first bit of Blueberry Og was put in jars this morning shouldn't be long for the first taste.
Congrats on the final takedown N! Looks great and I'm glad you got the blueberry smell. :thumb:

I particularly like the before/after pics of the buds...your wife obviously takes great pride in her work, and for good reason!
Hey Shed real glad to have it all harvested now. Wity the Blueberry oozing resin it has me thinking of trying to squish some of it using one of Mrs. N's old hair strainers , I don't have a rosin press so thought it might be a fun experiment.

It's funny you mention Mrs. N's trimming she was just asking me last night what everyone thinks of her trim job I'll be sure to show her your message she will be really pleased.

She does do a great job! And I know this might be inappropriate, but every time I see her nails, I can’t help but wonder how she wipes!! :laughtwo: I know, I’m totally immature, perpetually 12.
I know people have used the hair straightener with success, I think the biggest caution is having it too hot, so keep it as low as you can to start. Let us know how it goes!

I've wondered myself...I'll be sure to ask her during Easter dinner tonight lol.
She actually does them herself , she has a nail grinder thing and a light for setting them. The light reminds me of a Blurple grow light may have to steal it one day to start some seeds lol.

Thank You! That's a great tip. We recently pick up a dab rig so it got my wheels turning. We have tried some stuff from an online dispensary it's quite good but you can taste they have used alcohol to extract it so wanna try something pure.

Not sure if you've been over to Grandpa's squishing thread, but if you've been tempted to buy a press, this will send you over the edge!

Everyone there is really helpful even if you ask questions that have been answered earlier. And the rosin porn is most excellent. :)

I browsed the first page yesterday and was admiring his DIY rosin press he made. There was some pretty nice looking presses as well:drool:
definitely gonna check it out some more the stuff you can learn here is neverending!

Hey everyone while we wait for the Phantom Og and Blueberry Og to be finished drying and put in jars I've dropped some more seeds this afternoon to get ready for the next run.

I'll be growing 4 different auto flower stains. Ive decided to run these in my Dwc buckets. Since all camping trips we had planned are on hold because of all this craziness we are all dealing with I figured I could do one more hydro run before the summer hits then go back to Pro Mix so if we do go away it's easy for my friend to look after.

Let's introduce the strains!

Fast Buds Purple Lemonade

Indoors you can expect this plant to produce upwards of a whopping 350 g / m2 per plant, exploding from seed to bud in an extremely rapid 50-60 days! Outdoors if grown well she is capable of delivering up to 400 grams per plant

There they all are. I'm really looking forward to the Purple Lemonade , I have never grown any strains that go purple in flower and I really hope I actually get a Purple pheno fingers crossed. Pinapple Express was Mrs. N's pick, as soon as she read the description she wanted me to grow it she really likes the strains that have the fruity taste to them and I'm excited because it's supposed to be easy to grow and be a big producer we shall see. I picked Purple Punch because well I love Barney's Farm strains and really liked the one @ProfessorFlora grew it was a real beauty and hope my auto version will look just as good. Finally picked Tangiematic because it's the most sativa of the strains I picked and wanted something a little different then the Indica's I normally grow. Excited and nervous at the same time about this run I've never grown an auto flower before and I've seen they can be quite temperamental so I'm really hoping they play nice.

Go N! I can tell you this, If you like purple then that Purple Lemonade is the one for you. I've seen several of them now and they look amazing. I really want to do some more Fastbuds strains especially since their new classic range has been released. I've had a sweet spot for Fastbuds since I first grew on of their strains which was the Gorilla Glue Auto. Probably the dankest auto I've ever grown. Not at all purple though lol. In fact it was almost lime green with super bright orange pistils. I topped it at around week 3 from seed and it carried on growing and had maybe 20 tops in the end. It never got large though and still gave me a couple oz of absolute stink. sorry I'm on a ramble tonight lol.

I've seen so many amazing purple strains lately I knew I wanted to try one myself and Purple Lemonade looks like a great one. I've been following Farside05 journal and he is growing one now it's a beautiful looking plant but no purple and he is pretty deep into flower. On the other hand I've seen that Grand Daddy Black just chopped his and it had beautiful purple flowers you just never know with auto's lol. Fastbuds has so many great looking strains it was hard to choose, I've had these for a few months now and was waiting for the right time do drop them. Now that I have basically 2 Dwc grows under my belt I figured I could give auto's a try. I'm not expecting a big yield because well they are auto's but really looking forward to all the variety of different smoke I'll get when I chop these ladies. I'm thinking early lst with these ladies probably not gonna top them but I'll have to see how it plays out. Good seeing you again Prof hope your well buddy.

Right on, I'm taking a similar route, I too am going auto's for the next run! Those you chose look good!
That's great Canuk what strains you running? This should be alot of fun most excited for a run I've been in the last little while.

That's true. Autos can often throw a curve ball. Id still recommend Fastbuds over all other auto breeders though. I'm still waiting for my Barneys autos to turn up in the post. Given the current climate I can understand why they're not here yet. I'm going to get other things in place just in case they dont show. Still, Growing some more Hashplant D and Fat purple wouldn't be too bad.
We're all good this side buddy. There is still a lot of uncertainty in the air but for the most part we're remaining optimistic. Money is our main concern as we're quite isolated but you can only stay hiding in a hole for so long.
Look after yourself my friend

Sounds like a nice selection! Never grown Bruce Banner I grew White Banner from Crop King it was meh.. but that was probably because it was Crop King lol. This is my first Pinapple Express so can't comment on that one but I've grown Amnesia Auto from Seedsman it was a freebie as well , she was a nice little plant was probably only a foot and a half tall but she was all bud one main and about 5 secondary branches that grew some nice size buds.

Sounds like a killer auto grow N, hope you find the fruity one.
Thanks Penny! Hope I get some good phenos I tried to pick the seeds that looked the best before I dropped them in the water fingers crossed for some fruity flavors!

I think these Fastbuds seeds will be good one's everything I've read and seen from them I'm pretty confident I'll get something good out of the bunch. Hopefully your Barney's seeds show up soon but if not Fat Purple and Hashplant are some pretty great strains to run in their place! We are doing ok here. My province has extended the state of emergency just today but I've managed to stay working thankfully as I'm working on a large construction site and they deem construction an essential service here. So as long as everyone on site can keep their distance from each other and keep the number of people on site under 50 the site can remain open.

My auto's from CKS turned out to be photos, but gave me some good plants, so I have yet to grow an auto.
:goodluck: With your upcoming auto grow Canuk! I decided last year I was done with Crop King , just to many plants that were mutated or weak and when you have a limit on how many you have I didn't want to risk it. I have ordered from True North and was happy with the service it was nice being able to e transfer the funds and no border crossings to worry about. That being said I've ordered from Seedsman multiple times and always been happy with them and have never lost one seed to customs.

I work with a father and son stone mason private business who's client base is mainly consisting of elderly or retired people with a bit of cash. All of those clients dont want anyone near them at the moment. The other work we do is for the council or private roadwork firms who are all playing by the book at the moment and are mostly on lock down. Only the most important jobs are still underway and we dont have any of them right now. Then there is the fact that in my household there are 4 out of the 7 of us who live here are on the vulnerable peoples list so we dont want them being exposed to unnecessary risk. Its a real mess were in at the moment but things seem to be getting better in some places now. It looks like we might be on lockdown until at least June though which is conveniently when I may or may not be getting compensated for the time off. Weird time N
