In my first aid class they said I had to yell HELP HELP HELP three times as loud as I could, so there's that I guess. Fortunately someone else got there first but ya I've always had that in the back of my mind. Could be me.

Long story short, being a maintenance manager companies have always issued me a phone and credit card etc. I've been at this company for 7 years and have neither. What I do have are things I can't get at most other companies, such as free reign, lots of pull, no questions asked about spending and a boss who lets me do my job.
There's lots of shit to get all that but every job has bullshit and it's about how much you want to sit in before you go look for another pile.
 
But most people get a cell phone for themselves rather than wait for the company to give them one. My boss doesn't have my cell phone number. :)

I suppose, but I was always used to having one so it didn't seem right for me to buy one at the time. Seven years later and I 'm still looking for phone booths, which btw are almost impossible to find these days.

lol, I'm sure the number would be blocked even if he/she did.
 
We don't have a landline at home anymore haven't for years. We just found everyone would call us on our cell phones so the landline became redundant. Being self employed in the construction industry I need to have a cell phone can't be without it. You are right I can't remember the last time I saw a pay phone anywhere.
 
Or if you saw one it was nothing you wanted to get near!
