N420 Grows Barney's Farm Orange Sherbert & Special Guests

It's going around whatever it is. Every third journal I stop by has someone suffering from the funk.

Hope you're on the mend!
Thanks Shed starting to feel like myself again. It made it's way through the family and we are all getting back to normal. Got to get some garden updates done and I have alot of journal catch up to do.
Hope you feel better soon bro. We all miss you man!
Thank you Sparkey I missed everyone here as well.Doing better now didn't feel up to doing much on 420 or properly caring for the garden. Mrs. N says I don't handle being sick very well lol.

Hey everyone we are 43 days since flipping to flower and it's time for a little peak inside the tent.

I'm pretty happy with the Pog at the moment. The buds are starting to fill in nicely part of me feels they should be a little further along for their age but it should still be some nice smoke. They still have alot of white pistils so they definitely have some fattening up to do. I've dropped the Cal Mag with the last res change as I felt I was getting to much Nitrogen at this stage in flower with the combination of the Cal Mag and the Nitrogen in my base nutes.

I'm a little baffled with the Bog. The frost production is very nice as is the smell but the size of the buds are quite small. Not sure if it's something I'm doing or if it's a strain thing. They have received the same feed as the Pog and I feel it's at the right level as the Ec stays pretty stable and drops slightly each day throughout the week and never drops below 1.4 by the time I change the res at the end of the week.

I have been dealing with Powdery Mildew as well but I've managed to keep it somewhat under control with spraying them with a mixture of baking soda and Castile soap.

I'll finish it off with a few shots of them all in the tent. Will have to pull them out for the next update so everyone can see what they look like individually.

The Bog is looking much more like a sativa with the bud development. Does it have any large colas on the tops?
I have 2 Bog. One of them doesn't have any large colas on the top. The second one has a couple. They did stretch a mile when I flipped them and the nodes were quite far apart after the stretch. I will have to check the breeders site I know it's a hybrid but can't remember how it broke down.

One might be leaning much more toward the sativa parent.
I just looked it up it says 70% indica :hmmmm:
I think your right Shed just more of the sativa genetics with that particular plant. Never grown a sativa so the bud development kinda caught me off guard.

They say 55/65 days for the Pog. You could potentially have another 4 weeks of flower. Plenty of time to fatten up. They look fantastic mate. Nice and frosty.
Thanks Lew appreciate it buddy. I'm not very patient... hurry up and finish I want to smoke you lol. Your right plenty of time left looking forward to the finish on these girls.

Beautiful N4! They're really starting to frost up nicely!
Thanks Mr. S. The frost is really starting to come on now! These are both supposed to be high thc strains this stuff should really knock me on my ass.

Wow, even the hybrids look too tall for me. I would have anxiety all throughout the first 4 weeks of flower wondering if my tent will be tall enough. That girl on the far right for example, how much light raising do you have left? Obviously your done stretch, but from the pic, it looks like you are right at the max before super cropping.

Glad you're feeling a bit better N. The winter is over so hopefully you'll be able to warm up soon.
You're plants are looking awesome buddy. The leaves are doing the "reach for the sky" thing that mine never seem to do lol.

Hey Baron. These plants stretched a ton when I flipped them the most of any plants I've grown to date , they were about 3ft including the height of the buckets and were around 6ft tall when they finished. Ideally I would have preferred them wider then taller but the space and the amount of plants I had at the time didn't allow for that. The plant on the far right is the Blueberry Og she ended up over 6ft tall and even with the light raised all the way up I had to super crop a few branches that were too close to the light especially the main top that was actually above the light! This is the first time in all my runs that height became an issue you just never know what you will get with seeds wity clones you know what your in for so it's easier to plan but Mrs. N and I like variety so I end up running seeds on every run.

I was asked a similar question. Why do I pop two seeds when I can clone one later? Simply put I like the variety. If I was smoking for medical reasons I would be more inclined to take clones, especially if I had a mother that supplied the perfect meds.

Variety is the spice of life! I took some Orange Sherbert clones awhile back before I put the plants into flower and they turned out nice but I had months of the same smoke I decided then I would rather grow different strains each run for the variety and it's also more fun because each strain is so different.

I think it helps my tolerance levels without having to do a reset on myself. If I smoke some lower THC stuff for a bit then go back to a higher one I do notice the difference :thumb:

Thanks Prof. I'm glad I'm done with being sick. The weather was nice today so spring should be just around the corner. Quite happy with the ladies at the moment watching them chunk up is getting me excited for the end of this run.

You are definitely right on that one you do get an immunity smoking the same stuff all the time. Going from the Orange Sherbert to the Gorilla Zkittlez was quite a difference the Os was 14% and the Gz was 20%. After my first joint of Gz I was o_O
