I think I will make some oil with her I have made oil once and I learned a thing or 2 I didn't decarb it in the oven and should have I put it in my crock pot for 5 hours it worked but it wasn't very strong Mrs. N wanted to use it in her baths because she used to get bath bombs from dispensaries and really liked them but you can't get them anymore. Rainbow's and happiness sign me up lol I couldn't tell you were typing slow but I'm not fast a typing high or not lol. Thanks for the kind words VG always good to see you.

I'm good prof and happy to see you! The seeds have not come out of the rooter's yet but I did have a peek and they have all cracked and have some nice looking tap roots. 3 of them look like they need to turn themselves around to come out of the rooter so I'm hoping they will pop their heads out in a day or 2. Ya prof loving the Gz so far they are definitely floppy like you mentioned I already have had to stake them. Lookin to do a trim on them in the next few days cutting out some of the lower stuff and a bit of a defoil as well. They should be some good smoke and should make Mrs. N happy to have some stronger meds in the house. Hope your well buddy your Barney's girls are looking fantastic!
Nice. That's one of the good things about the rooters. You can just pull the little plug out and take a peak and then return it once you've finished. Recently I've just been burying them straight in the dirt and if (when) I lose patience and want to have a look I have to dig them up really carefully. I've not killed one yet but I can see how easy it would be. I really wish I'd trimmed the GZ more. It really could have done with it lol. Good job on the early staking

I'm liking the rooter's so far I do like being able to take the little plug on top and have a look without having to disturb the seed to much. My norm is the paper towel then into the medium and have had good success with it. It will be good to clean up the Gz I am usually kinda cautious with it but realizing being a little more aggressive with it is not a bad thing at all.

Keep an eye on them. I dissected a couple of the rooters that didn't take off yesterday, and found one appears to have gotten stuck. Which makes sense as it looked like it was about to pop up for days and days, but never did. I don't think it could have been prevented, and just one of those things that happens. I should have paid better attention, but when I opened the rooter you could see that it just couldn't get the helmet off and up.

Not real sure what one would do about it. Maybe rip the hole a tick so it makes it less tight and it can come up easier?

Something I'm going to have to check on before my next round, which shouldn't be too far off.

I will keep a close eye. @Ganjagrandaddy did mention making the hole slightly bigger because he said they can get stuck but unfortunately I saw the post after I had already planted them. I will watch them for the next day or 2 and if nothing happens I will probably use my trimming snips to cut out the inside of the rooter a little and something I should do going forward with these before I put seeds in them.

Probably not a bad idea. I turn mine upside down, so maybe next time I’llnX the hole a little bit.

Morning 420. I did a little bit of exploratory surgery on one of the rooter's because the seedling looked like it had lost most of it's helmet and may have been stuck so I wanted to take a closer look.

So I took an razor and cut the rooter open on one side

The picture is of a practice one I cut before doing the one with the seedling inside but just wanted to show what I did.
After cutting it open I saw that it still had some helmet left and was actually fairly close to the top of the rooter but opening the rooter up allowed for the seedling to get itself more straitened up. I closed it back up and put it back on the tray. The other rooters seemed to be ok and the seedlings that had the tap root growing towards the top have turned themselves around and are heading in the right direction now. The one seedling that was growing towards the top from the beginning is nearly ready to break the surface so we should see her soon.

Good Morning 420. Well we have some good news this morning all the seedlings have popped their heads out of the rooter's!
The Phantom Og was the first to come up followed by the Blueberry Og. 3 of them lost their helmets and one still has one.Still got the dome on and the heat mat going giving me temps of 76 degrees and 60% rh.

Got a couple of pics of the 2 that showed up last night.

The Gz is cruising along now we are at day 19 since the flip and we already have some frost starting to show up! They don't smell to much right now but from what I've heard about this strain that should start pretty soon.
I did another round of lollipoping now that the stretch is done to get rid of the shaded growth tips.

After

Going to do a bit of a defoil in a couple of days to really get the light into their lady bits lol.

I'll finish up with a few pics.

Looking great N. Can smell them from here. :)
They stretched real nice. Great job. How many week strains are they.
Thanks Magic. The stretch worked out good got a bit of extra growth but I still got plenty of room above for the lights. They are supposed to be 8 to 9 week strains. Can't wait for the smell to really set in being a Gorilla Glue cross their supposed to have a very strong smell and have a thc concentration of 20-24 %

Babies! :cheer:

The grown ups look pretty good too :).
Appreciate it Shed. Had a question how long should I leave the heat mat going for the little one's? I have never used one before its is creating a nice environment for them just not sure if there is anything negative about using it as they get bigger.

I think you should leave the heat mat going at least until you transplant them into wherever they're going next. There's not much mass around the roots to retain warmth with the rooters.
Ok makes sense I am putting them into the Dwc buckets once they get some good roots established so trying to leave them in there as long as I can.

:party:For the smallies!
:bravo: For the defol! :bravo:

Fantastic job N!!!!
Thanks very much Hh Og crosses FTW!

The Gz are really starting to hit their stride now just in time to grow some stinky sticky flowers.
