seems to be a thing with these far cola' d buggers. #MeTooThanks JCTJ! andpretty happy with the haul so far and 3 plants to go. I was lucky with the rot not being to wide spread hopefully the rest are rot free.

looking top notch matey. Got to love the gz. on my top 10 for sure. i have rock hard sticky buds filling with thc now. you wont regret these ladies one bit NGz update
I'm so impressed with these plants so far. They are growing nicely and have not slowed down at all from the topping the nodes right below were I topped are putting out some nice new growth and the lowers are stretching up to catch up with the top of the plant. At this rate I will be able to start training in a week or 2

brilliant N. good luck with the cure too.Hey 420. Should be a busy day today I finally got the harvest of the Os done it is all in the drying racks now. Makes it a little tough harvesting it over the week with different buds at different levels of dry in the racks but we are getting it figured. I plan on cleaning the 4x4 today and hope to get the outdoor Os in the tent and get them into flower.
Got the temp controller set up yesterday in the 3x3 and after a bit of adjustment got my temps up a bit they are running at 73 degrees and my rh is 58%. It was quite easy to set up .I set it at 73 with a 2 degree differential and it cycles the exhaust fan off and on and keeps it where I want it. Highly recommend it was quite cheap compared to the temp controller's you can get at the grow shops.
Because of the staggered harvesting of the Os I have a dried and cured jar and got to sample some last night! Nice smooth smoke smells sweet but not getting any Orange smell but maybe after a longer cure. I will say it was quite strong kida kicked my butt came on quickly with a feeling of euphoria was feeling a little off before I smoked but that quickly went away and soon was giggling away watching Modern Family.

Thanks Mr. S. I do have the inkbird humidity controller as well got it with the temp controller have not needed it so far but will definitely be connecting it to my humidifier in the next few months when the humidity drops. That's one thing I have to figure out is VPD kinda clueless when it comes to that.

Thanks Gg . she was a beauty her buds just hit the jar tonight.
That's the only downside to the Os she puts out such big buds so she can get rot pretty easy. I got lucky with the rot it only effected a few buds so I'm pretty happy with that.
Thanks again Gg. Real happy with these ladies they are cruising along so far hope to start some training soon. You have some great looking buds on yours I'm really looking forward to the flower cycle on these ladies.
Appreciate it Gg. Lovin the frost on these nugs. Got some mini hydrometers for curing and have made it much easier.
Congrats on the harvest N! Your GZ are looking super healthy and have a beautiful shiny green to the leaves. It seems the GZ has a bit of pheno variation so hopefully you'll end up with some interesting and possibly quite different nugs by the end. Not to mention tasty lol.Happy Saturday 420. Just thought I would put up a quick update on the Gz.
It's been a little cooler here the last few days we've had some rain and it definitely feels like fall is on it's way. This has made it cooler in the Gz tent with temps at 66 degrees and rh of 61%. I would like to get the temperature up a bit but don't want to add a heater l did get an inkbird temp controller a month ago and have not set it up yet so I may set it up and will see if that can cycle the fan on and off and bring my temps up a bit. Never used a temp controller before but have seen alot of members on here using that particular controller so hopefully I can get it set up fairly easily. I bumped the light up again and think we are near full power still have the light at 24 inches away so far so good. The new growth from the topping site is cruising along one plant in particular is showing the most growth and looks like a good cloning candidate later in veg. I have 2 different phenos going and luckily I have 2 of each pheno. The first pheno is growing taller with more spaced out nodes that will take nicely to some training. The second is more short and bushy with nodes close together which will be nice in flower for those nice stacking buds but will definitely need some thinning for light penetration.

Thanks Prof. Happy to have some fresh new smoke in the house. It's a little confusing having different jars at different times in the cure and bud still on the drying rack all at different stages of dry but we will get it. Lovin the Gz so far didn't realize shiny leaves was a thing showing plant health but I'll take it lol. After I read you Gz strain review it got me pretty excited about what these ladies could potentially become.

Hey 420 fam. After thinking about it for a couple of day's I've decided to put the Os outdoor into the 4x4 to flower. I was going to have a lull between the Gz being ready for flower and had an empty tent crying out to be filled lol. They were getting slightly more then 12hrs of light outside and were starting to go into
flower. Put them in last night and have not skipped a beat. I plan on growing them natural with no training unless they really need it but looking for a low maintenance grow. I had transplanted them into 3 gallons about 2 weeks ago so I don't expect them to get to big .

Another Quick Update
The amnesia auto was due for harvest but we have been very busy the last little while. My tenant moved out of my basement suite so we are in the middle of a small reno down there to turn it into a space that the family can use. We have never used that space for ourselves since we moved into the house 13 years ago and with my 2 little ones running around spreading their toys from one end of the house to the other it's time for some more room lol. I noticed a small amount of rot on the top of the main cola and knew it had to come down. I took my daughter to swim lessons when I came home my wife had harvested the auto.
Not going to be a big yield but I just grew it for fun. The buds are nice and kinda have a peppery smell to them. Will be nice to have a little variety.

Things are going good with these plants after their second day in the tent they don't seem to bothered by the change in environment. 2 of them were due for a watering so I gave them their first taste of flower nutes. They got 12 ml per gallon of seni bloom a+b, 8 ml per gallon of bud candy , voodoo juice , pirana , tarantula and senziym. I lowered both my lights to 18 inches away from the plants after a day of them being raised to the top of the tent to get them used to the lighting.
I know I said I wasn't going to do any training but I couldn't help myself and gave them a little how do you do lol.
One of the bends didn't go exactly as planned and broke the skin of the main stem but I'm hoping it heals up ok.

good call N. Will heal fine . i crumble a little rooting powder around any splits and even a little tape to keep air out helps too. Looking good in there mate

Thanks Gg I will keep my eye on the split good idea with the tape and rooting powder. Just had to flatten the canopy for better light penetration and figured that would be the easiest way to do it.

supercropping is a very usefull technique N. saved a few decent main in my past with it. I have similar going on with one of my Gz whonwanted to touch the moon i think. took 5 mains down with it and they are doing fine with it. doing brilliant matey.

Gz update.
These ladies are chugging right along and are actually becoming quite bushy I can't help but wonder if I should give them a little pruning as some of the lower growth sites are completely covered by some of the largest leaves on them.
Checking around I found that the thrips are still there I backed off on the spraying and now realized that I should have kept it up like I was.
Getting the start of a few deficiencies so will have to bump my feed up at the next watering. Looks like ca deficiency so will probably be adding cal mag to my feed as well.
Getting the odd mutations of some of the leaves not sure what causes that.
All in all very happy with these I grabbed the main stock on them they are very solid when I grabbed them they had a very strong smell should be a very potent strain.

It's a great technique I got away from it the last couple of grows but it is such a quick easy way to control the canopy. Hoping some of the lowers shoot up now and give them a chance to grow some nice size buds.
Looking great brother. Very nice looking ladies man. They're stacking nicely
