My ultimate grow room

Just wanted to add my 3 cents & say "Bloody Marvelous". What a great set-up u got going on, (or soon will do). You obviously know what works & what doesn't. Good Luck,,,can't wait to see how your grow does, although not as much as u do, i bet..

Thanks to everyone for the kind words!

Quick update: One last trip to the store today; I am picking up wall-mount fans, A/C, de-humidifier, pots, and a wireless temp./humidity gauge, etc.

My clones are ready to transplant into larger pots; we expect to "be in the ground" by Sunday.

I had to modify the PVC rod that separates the end hoods. I drilled holes in the ends and zip-tied the rod to the chains originally, but as soon as I raised the hoods I found I needed a rod that I could move when the hoods move. My solution? I cut "J" shaped slots in the ends that I could snap on and off as needed. I will post a picture of it later tonight...

OK, here are the detail shots of the spacer rod I had to modify...

Hope the photos are clear enough...

Latest update: I am having a little bit of trouble getting the door in. My brother made the opening too narrow for the door I bought... He said he will make it fit, but have been having a hard time connecting with him. Hopefully tonight.

I also picked up three new wall fans (I had 1 used fan already). I will mount them tonight. I also have to get the clones ready to be transplanted into bigger pots.

I am a little stressed about timing. Just want to get this room rolling...

Dont worrie so much it will all come together in time ! Until then burn a fat one and picture how it will be when its all done !

UGOD - Thank you, that is just what I needed to hear right now! It is all coming together finally! Tonight my door finally got finished and the room is coming up to temp. Hopefully we will have our babies moved in tomorrow or the next day!!

O,BTW... I am burning some of my last run of Bubba Kush (per your advice). Thanks again.

Hogdady - Took a look at your profile... Nice scoot! I ride a Softail too (a Night Train).

So, I installed the wall fans today. Here is a shot showing 3 of them. They are about 4 feet off the floor...

I considered sealing the floor, but time is running out for my schedule so that will have to wait awhile (a few crops). Ballasts are going up into the attic tonight as well as bulbs going into hoods. Not much left to do now...

The hoods are raised at the top of the hood. In this picture they (hoods) are at their lowest point. When the "S" hooks are raised up the chain the excess chain is just set on top of the hood in a little pile. The hook where it is raised is in the red circle...

As you have seen in the previous pictures, the cords now run up and through the ceiling, where the ballasts will soon be.

If I wasn't baked when I asked you that, I should've seen that....:grinjoint:

I'm hoping to have an awesome setup like this here soon. Sweet job! Went all out!

Man, i love seeing a handyman at work. Looks like a lot of time and thought went into building your room. Can't wait to see you get started.

Thanks for all the support everyone... The room is up and running on 3 lights and the babies are in the house... Guess this thread should branch out into a grow journal, however I want to continue this thread to follow up on the rest of the second room's construction...

Oh, almost forgot, I will be posting more pics later this AM with details of the ballasts' placements, etc.
