My "landlord" if you want to call it that, was a Marine... I did take pictures while in the Navy both for the Navy and myself but I was not a photomate

Very cool bro, I would puke my guts out in one of those lol..A neighbour of mine has a Cesna float plane, he took me fishing on a lake you can only get to by plane,26 pike in 2 hrs.The ride there was nice and smooth but the ride back was F*****g brutal! I was the same color as my plants by the time we got back

yes I took that pic. I was not in a jet though. Those boys were in a coordinated operation to protect us. I was in a big old P3 and before you think I was driving I was not. I was the ordnance type, we got to ride with our rockets back in the day We did 12 hour missions and part of that might be to ride 300' off the deck for a while, now that will make some folks hurl I might have to tell some stories, just typing this much is bringing back memories.you had to be high (wink wink ) when that picture was taken

I was pissed, pissed at everything when I went to join the navy. I was given a free college ride from my parents and was excepted to a commercial arts program... but... the old man really pissed me off when he informed me the free ride ended if I deviated from his vision. Fuck That. I had my own vision, I wanted to see shit blow up. I went down to see the Navy recruiter, a crusty old fuck of a Senior Chief. He took one look at me and said "what are you doing here?" I replied "I want to be in the Navy, and I want a contract" He looked me over, a wild haired leather wearing crazy looking kid and told me "You would be better suited in the Marines, it is two doors down. Have a nice day" ... I sat there and slumped back in my fuck you style and said "I guess you didn't hear me right, I want to join The Navy" ... "today". He looked at me close this time, in a Senior Chief way, sizing me up. I looked at him as another asshole in my way. He said "It doesn't work that way" pause "If you want to be in my Navy you have to take a test" ...
and so it started

I made tincture yesterday and took pics... I will make a post later.
got busy and just posting this after a couple hours.
I am not sure I have it in me to tell the entire Navy chapter in my life. Seeing the start in the last chapter made me want to add to it, like a comic book. Due to what is playing out in the news I will flash forward to Korea... South Korea.
Osan Korea
We had landed for three days of r & r in Osan. Myself and a couple other of the “wilder” crew mates were excited to get out and see what this country had to offer. We went up to the money exchange and got ourselves enough to get in trouble and out we went. Ahh the smells, the visuals... the street was wide and long lined with bars, restaurants and all sorts of vendors, business was kicking. We got about 300' from the gate and the shit hit the fan. The air raid sirens started to wail and folks were diving into anywhere to get off the street. I turned around and saw the gates to the base being closed by armed guards in full HAZMAT gear and vehicles blocking the entrance with a big show of force. My buds and I looked at each other like WTF we don't even have a weapon. Then a cute little “bar maid” appeared out of nowhere and motioned us inside... and it was on.
Some time later, maybe the next day we found out it was just a drill, by then I did not care

Buckshot's Tincture
I am not sure I am done with this one yet. It was so thick that after only an 1/8th or so reduction the oil started to form so I stopped and cooled. It has too much alcohol for me but it is mellow like wine, not rot gut 100 proof
If you see a slight purple tinge it is the leftover haze base that was added
First it all went fresh in the freezer, 100 proof vodka and sweet leaf and popcorn bud from 2-3 plants. This was stirred almost every day for weeks. It was strained and 2-3 more plants were added and the process repeated twice
Fresh from the freezer

double boiled on very low heat
only a slight reduction...
this is nighty night meds
still working out the mix

cool... I have the lid on because it went back in the fridge to see if I had gone too far... too far is when the solution can't suspend the oil and it forms on its own and collects on the bottom.
