My Room - Perpetual LED Soil

What base are you using for your tinctures? Myself I use vegetable glycerine way nicer on the throat than alcohol (Still beware vegetable glycerine can give you a case of the runs if you use it too much)

I use 100 proof vodka. I was reducing to oil. 1/3 the way in the reduction of the purple oil I had to stop and put it in the fridge. It looked good enough to try when I pulled it out :cheesygrinsmiley: ... so I did. Most of the alcohol was lost in the reduction leaving a really, REALLY great tasting tincture. So I stopped and bottled... it is really smooth, no stomach upset, no burn, just the pure flavor of haze. So I am out to perfect this method. I hold this under my tongue so I don't want burning alcohol. I will reduce the new stronger liquid at least 1/3 to get rid of most of the alcohol but leave enough to keep the oil suspended. I also have a haze only one going... I just decided to use that liquid as the "top off" after I squeeze and change leaves each time. It is kept in the freezer during the "cure" and when reduced goes in the fridge.

I would be quite regular if I used vegetable glycerine :cheesygrinsmiley:

OK ssxsi will be clipped today. one or two nanners I can live with...it will wreck the buds if I leave it going. I took this shot of a "test" bud and saw another nanner so.... it's "o'va"

I am sure you can spot the nanner, oh and the suck clip job too :cheesygrinsmiley:

no I cant.

Looks great anyway buckshot,

Did the nanners come just late in flowering or did you see any male parts during early flower. I just pulled a couple off one of mine now 2 week into flower. Found 4 sacks low down the branch, hoping they dont come back.

no I cant.

you know I want to draw a circle and arrow :cheesygrinsmiley:

lower screen just left of middle... bright green/yellow

These were late .... and really just a few, I believe I caused it with light issues.

Nanners are about 1/4 of the way across the bottom of the photo, just up from the bottom. Stupid nanner mothafockas.

ok. photography is one part of a good image but processing is the meat of it. Remember "dark rooms" that is where Ansel Adams work came to "life". You are not just looking at his photograph you are looking at how he processed it. If you folks think back just a little when you had film developed. Some places did it "better" that is because they were better at processing your images.

Today I use a cheap software to process with. I timed this image 3.5 minutes to do this including writing out what I did.

I cropped the shit at the bottom
lighting- levels- adjusted for extremes and flash
color- saturation added a tad for punch
re-size ... I resize to 1600 pixels on the long side
unsharp mask (yeah I know unsharp to sharpen, wtf) 56% radius 0.6 threshold 0

done

any questions please ask

No questions, but + rep for the great tips and explanation - you do take exemplary photos and edit them well! :thumb:

I did tripple tincture smoked a bunch of haze took a handful of astins and tried to visit some journals. I hope I hit you all. I really suck at following. I make an extra effort for folks I know have come here... and I suck at that too. Just know that I am floating around checking you out and I appreciate you coming here

Thank You

As I have been typing I am thinking of all the journals I missed ... :lot-o-toke:

I am the same way, I nearly lose sleep over falling behind in journals, but life does get busy for us all at times. If you're like me, you are subbed to way more journals than you can realistically keep up with day to day... I tend to peek in a lot, even if I don't post, but I feel bad when I can't keep up...

Oh, and nanners or not, that's sure some pretty bud brother! :high-five:

I will reply to you both a little later when I stop being frustrated as I have AGAIN some how wiped an entire post

needless to say there was thanks in there... and more

I have to figure out wth I am doing!

ok you and X have a vision cause I still don't see shit! so Buck get your crayons out and start coloring.
I know what a male looks like and I got nanners to but I sure don't have a clue where yours are

crashed hard last night... I have not been sleeping well. I hope to get back to all of you in a bit.

I feel ya man. I haven't cleared my "likes "in a couple days and I'm brushing 400 new. Do u know by chance if the will go away if I click to view hem and only view the first page or do I gotta scroll though all of em?

no idea! I did not know you clear them :cheesygrinsmiley:... sounds like more work!

Turns out... yes. Lol. The ocd in me hates having notifications so I always try and get to them before its over 15 cause I'm not about to actually read them and was unsure if they'd clear just by looking at the first page

Hi guys. How are you viewing your subscriptions? You can see them in the Control Panel or your Subscribed Threads page. I like the CP since it only shows the threads with posts since you last visited them along with new PM's. This site keeps track of when you visit a thread to determine if there are new posts. You do not have to visit any particular page AFAIK. When you're looking at the list of subscribed threads, there is a little green circle with some arrows in it right before the title of the thread. If you click that, it will jump you straight to the new post since your last visit. I'm sure many of you know about this, but just in case it helps someone...

I'll share a tip about how I use this feature. I open my list of threads. FYI, they are sorted by the newest posts on top, to the oldest. I prefer to start from the oldest to try and catch up, so I go to the bottom of the list. NOTE: If you're on your control panel, you only see the threads with new posts. If you're on your subscription list page, you can tell which have new posts by the bolded thread title. OK, so back to my tip... I just go down, or up if you go oldest to newest, the list and middle click each of those little circle buttons. On my computer, the middle button will open the link in a new tab. You can also right-click the button and select "open in new tab". I'll open several at once, then I work my way through them. I close the tab as I finish with the thread. Eventually I get back to the list of threads. I refresh the list, and start over.

Anyway, I hope you don't mind my posting this Buckshot. Hopefully it will help someone. :Namaste:

Cheers mate, different situation then. Keep the show coming mate :)

Thanks Xlr8 :cheesygrinsmiley: it stunk up the entire house when I trimmed it!

I tell folks that I suck at following and then I feel bad when I actually suck at following!

Thanks for the reps!!

This should help many folks, maybe even me :cheesygrinsmiley: I have to admit my eyes glazed over about half way down (not you! ME!!) so I will read again later :cheesygrinsmiley:

I do the same as Hiker easier to keep track of old posts and get updates when stuff is going down!
