I had been wondering how to point to a post by grabing the link. Funny Jandre pointed out an easy way to do this by going to the persons profile and finding the post and copying the link ... Well it was Jandre's post I wanted to share!!! :cheesygrinsmiley:

Thanks Jandre

Blue Moon x SI Boy

Blue Moon x SI Boy

I wanted this hybrid to take more than any other. Even though it was pollinated at the same time as the rest the seeds were mostly white and useless. Those seeds that were not totally unformed were just barely what I would consider viable. When I planted the rest of the seedlings they still had not popped. I am proud to say this morning 3 out of 4 were sprouted and planted!!!

Sheesh, that's great news; if I understand you right, the 4 beans that looked weak actually ended up with 3 sprouting? I can't remember how much was pollenated, but hadn't you expected more than only 4? Sorry if I missed something ... and good luck with the youngsters.

Thanks Aardvark

You are close, all that is right except I have many beans. I only tried 4 of the bm x si to start with :cheesygrinsmiley: even though the blue moon went as long or longer than the rest its seeds took longer to form so most of what I have is not viable. After this test I am happy that the ones I thought were ok really are viable. I started 4 because I think I want to square the blue moon too. I have been thinking...

It's all about the blue moon

Well as Fish clips I wait! :cheesygrinsmiley: It is close now and since the last gen had bud rot I am hyper-vigilant at this point. These are today's pics in search of bud rot.

I am reading Fish's journal on blue moon, as I am smoking blue moon while editing pictures of blue moon!! :cheesygrinsmiley:

Today it is all about the blue moon

all these pics are the older blue moon

what ROT?

what ROT?

Hey Fish, none yet but if you look at the closeups there are a couple spots where the hairs are turning a "funny" color ... darker not redish that could be the start so I will watch every day now ... several times a day :cheesygrinsmiley:

damn mold!!!!

Son of a bee otch DANG it mold. I have seen this type of mold before on the soil ... but it has spread to some of my babies leaves!!! Nothing in the bud room yet but it makes me want to pull that older blue moon!! I am going to have to see how long she has been budding .... damn

So ..what do you folks suggest. I am already thinking about SNS-244 any other products you suggest?

Buckshot I just recently used a solution of 10% vinegar and water. yes it sounded a little sketchy to me too but it worked great I just applied it twice a week until the humidity went down. I think it changes the ph of the leaf tissue so the mold can't grow.
I got that tip from someone on here but I can't remember who. So thanks to them any who!:high-five:
