I am very medicated at the moment on something I will never again throw away. I made some wonderful butter tonight. On the way to the compost pile The steamy pile had a nice buttery spinach like smell ... so I took a big bite. Then another!! It was good, kind of like spinach but with a "burn". I hucked the rest on the pile thinking "it tastes good but I got all the "good stuff" in my butter" WRONG! I got a nice deep medication from my "cannaspinach" I am such a FOOL for hucking it!!! Dang I will never do that again!!! ... and I will leave in a generous portion of butter and add some pepper!! Yum!!
FYI
I use only very "sugary" bud leaf cuttings and popcorn buds. I don't break them up and that leaves a buttery, very much like spinach, dish.
As for the ladies ...I am so busy they have to wilt to get my attention ... I feel like a terrible father but they seem to like it! I took some pics today and when I get done floating around I might post a couple. What is more like it is I will go in an kick back and see you folks in the morning!!!
-edit
3 hours later and cannaspinach is still working!
Wow! I love a good buzz story. Bucky, I am probably 2 weeks from my first attempt at making extracts from my soon-to-be harvested crop before I start over again and much of the harvest will not be smoke-worthy, I fear because of all of the trauma I put the poor girls through in my first grow. The buds are loose, multicolored and not much to look at - nothing I would normally either buy or sell (if I were ever in such an unlikely position <G>. If they are good smoke, then I was thinking the best outcome would be to just harvest the Trichomes, saving the time normally used for curing.
My question is, what kind of "butter" are you referring to, and what was the spinach from - how many times was it washed? There are a lot of different extraction methods and I am thinking about using dry ice in the 1-gallon silk bag set I got off Amazon - 8 different screen sizes and a drying mat. I could do it with ice/water, but I don't want to make a mess.
What do you think, o wise one?
aint as splendid as that
For some reason i got the munches...
Holy mother Buckshot!
those plants are the epitome of health brother.
+reps coming at cha!
Hey Buck, Thanks For The Speedy Response, Yeah, Rank Doth Have It's Privileges!!! But I Thought I Left That Behind In The Corps?!? Oh Well, He Was A Marine, And His Partner(A MUCH YOUNGER PROTEGE), Was U.S.N., I Believe He said He Had been A Machinists Mate??? I Believe, Any Ways They Were Both Military, A Grunt And A Squid, God Was With Me That Day!!! I Was Yes, Sir No Sir, To All Of Their Questions. Which Started Out Pertaining To The Checks. I'll Talk In PM About That. Then It Came To The Garden, And It Was Obvious The Squid(NO INSULT INTENDED), Was Basically Under The Supervision Of The Sargent That Was There Shadowing Him, To Make Sure He Followed Investigative Procedures Correctly. When They, Or Should I Say The Younger Officer, Was Finished With The Questions, The Older Officer(HE WAS A SARGENT), Took The Reins, And It Became About The Garden!!! And There I Am Standing, In My Pajamas(SWEAT SHORTS, LONG CUT, WELL BELOW THE KNEE), But No Shirt!!! And I Had Not Shaved Yet, So I Imagine I Looked Pretty Rough!!! So They Led Me Off The Porch, And The Sargent Began To Question Me About The Garden!!! So I Began Answering ALL His Questions Honestly!!!
He Asked If They Could Enter My Garden, "Yes Sir" I Replied, " Just Let Me Unlock It For You." Which I Proceeded To Do Rapidly!!! He Then Asked/Told His Deputy To Enter The Garden Before Us. We Stood At The Gate, The Sarge And I, He Asked Me Again, How Many Plants I Had In The Garden, And That I Needed To Be Honest, As He Had Already Asked, And He Would Forget About The Number I Had Given Earlier If I Told The Truth NOW!!!! Well Being Who I Am, This Kind Of Got Under My Skin A Little, But I Remained Straight In Thought And Action, And Replied" No Sir I Do Not Need To, Like I Said, Only 25 Plants In The Garden.", He Said "OK", And We Entered The Garden.
Well The Younger Officer Had Been Busy, And Quickly Replied 25 Plants Sarge!!! At This Point The Sarge Said That He Had to Give Me The Opportunity To Be At Least Partially Honest By Owning Up If I Had More Than 25. He Also Said That People Tell Them 25 All The Time, And It Always Turns Out To Be At The Very Least 7-10 More Than They Said, Some Times He Said There Are 100's To 1,000'S More. So He Had To Ask. I Get It!!! He Said That He Personally Could Not Remember The Last time He Had Done A Garden Check, That What He Was Told About The Amount Of Plants Was True!!! All I Could Think Was, I Wouldn't Lie To You. He Told Me My Plants That Were Left, Were Way Too Large, And To Get Rid Of Them ASAP, I Said Absolutely, SIR!!! He Also Wanted The Plants I Had Saved For Either Gleaming, Hash, Or Both, I Immediately Chopped Everything Down(LIKE TREES, LOL!!!) Got The Garden Completely Torn Down, To The Stumps Dug Out Of The Containers, Raked The Garden Completely, Picked Up All Debris And Trash(I'll Tell You What Happened In A PM To My Last 5 Un Harvested Plants) And Had It All Completely Spotless In Three Days, By My Self. Not Bad Huh??? I Was So Happy When It Was Over, I Gotta Be Honest!!! Well That's Part Of What Happened, I'll Save The Rest For A PM!!!
WOW! buck the new room looks great, love how uniform the 3 led's look as well as the plants, well done. How do you like the new garden site? I know moving can be hell but sometimes once its all done and put together its a feeling like no other.
I hope your loving it.
