Wow great looking plants dude! What do you think of LED? I found a 300w LED for $329 (50% off), and I am seriously considering going from my 400w HID to this unit. I've been battling heat issues, and I think it'd be easier to get LEDs than to install an AC unit.

Thanks! I think LED works great! LED will be less heat but still may cause heat issues. Good Luck!

trust me he has been exploding all over the place! I think I am going to have a lot of seed ... I hope some of it is sweet. Thanks for checking it out ... stand by for more pics. I figure between drying and fridge time (two weeks in the fridge when they are new seed really helps make 'em pop) and growing we are looking at Christmas time for the new hybrids.

I hope to have some nice poinsettias by then, right OMM?

WINTERING!! Glad to see someone else doing this. Seeds are made by plants for one reason: To survive the cold, and continue the species after the thaw. Wonderful to see you're doing it, too! It really does help with germination rates later. my last two sets of seeds spent some time in the fridge before going to warmer germination station, and I still am running 100%.

If you're a fan of powerful PAR, but are battling heat issues with HID, then LED's are the way to go. Just make absolutely SURE you are getting them from a reputable company, because there are some cheapo Chinese duds hitting the market all over that are a poor examples of what LEDs are really capable of.

Those lights will not cut it. You need something with some balls to flower a cannabis plant properly. 3 watt LEDs for sure and with a lens in front to focus the light ... check this post.

Been busy ... moving. I am freaking out about a new room. I thought I would have a cool place but it looks like I will have environmental issues. It is going to be tough. The plus side is that I will be able to grow outside. I can't wait!

"The Room" is always set 12/12 I have a small "veg" room that is set to 18/6

I like the ffof on established plants but they sure dont need nutes for a while thats for sure.

I have since backed way off on nutes ... A big change is folier feeding with Dyna-gro foliage pro and I use that instead of grow big the rest of the ff nutes I use at 1/2 to 1/4 strength
